I just changed my hair color from black to copper red for the first time in twenty years, so I had to completely change my makeup to suit the look. This item goes on very precisely, and the wire brush is very hand for blending a bit of color into my eyebrows to make my hair look more matchy and natural. Whenever I use it my coworkers notice and say it looks really nice. They wouldn’t bull crap me because they are some catty minxes.The precision pencil has its advantages, but it is so fine point that you have to be careful to press ever so lightly when you use it, or it will break. I’ve probably broken as much as I’ve applied so far because I’m so ham-handed. I got it at an excellent price, so overall I’m very happy with it.

I've used Anastasia, MAC and other department store brow pencils. This one is my favorite and the blonde shade is natural looking and perfect for me. It's retractable, doesn't smear and is easy to work with and blend. I purchase this at Target or here on Amazon if it's more convenient for me. I haven't been able to find it in Target over the last year, and I notice the price has risen significantly on Amazon. That's usually a sign a product is being discontinued...hope not.

This is the perfect shade for by dark brown that look black but are not eyebrows . Brown is to light and black is to dark and it is very dark brown an no red looks natural. But as others have said mine does not retract no exspand I don't know why but it came in two so I will try the other one. Other then it not having but a 3 mm that I could use I would use this always and would recommend. After one was broken and the other one worked but it was crumbly so I would have to say this brow pencil is just to fine and soft to be used in this way.

In search of a good eyebrow pencil for blondes, I’ve tried a lot, from expensive makeup counters to drugstore makeup aisles, and by far this is the best one in both color match and functionality. The ultra-thin twist-up retractable wax pencil draws very precise thin lines in the perfect shade of a very, very light taupe-ish brown, or dark taupish blonde, depending on your perspective. The brush on the opposite end does a great job combing the brows as well as softening and blending the lines drawn by the pencil, which are so thin that it’s almost unnecessary to blend them out. The only thing keeping me from giving it five stars is how quickly the pencil runs out, both because it’s not very long and because it’s a slightly soft pencil, causing its length to run down quicker than a harder pencil. I don’t wear makeup every day, so I can only estimate that if you use this pencil daily, you’d probably have to buy it every 3-4 weeks. But the quality, color, and extremely affordable price of this Maybelline Eyebrow Pencil is worth it.Once when my local drugstore ran out of this pencil, I had to quickly find a substitute and bought a different one, the Maybelline New York Eyestudio Brow Define and Fill Duo, which I can also highly recommend. The wax pencil is the same as on the Brow Precise Micro pencil in this review, but the side with the brush is replaced by a filling powder on a soft sponge applicator tip. The powder tip does a great job filling in thin spots and is the same great shade of blonde as the pencil. I love this product. There’s not a lot in it, though. I use this once every day and it lasts about a month. I haven’t had any issues with breakage. I have about 2mm out when I use it, but I could see it breaking off for people who have more of the stick out when using. The brush is great and helps make the brow look more natural.

I initially tried this pencil through influenster and loved it so much that I ordered 4 of them. They are good quality and super easy to use but they break easily and last up to 2 weeks max. I'm not sure if i got a bad batch or the pencil got softer because of the summer heat but I lost half of the product cause small pieces kept breaking off while I was applying it. This didn't happen with the product I got from influenster so I'm a bit confused as to what is causing this.

I've been using this product for at least 2yrs now, and it is very hard to beat!! The color goes well with my hair, it looks natural (I guess as natural as make up can look 😜), glides on smooth and doesn't get clumpy.. and the insanely low price adds to how much I adore it!*Side note: My friend still doesn't understand why I choose to buy this product instead of the expensive ones...but it simply works BETTER all the way around for me. She has black hair or else I'd have her hooked on it too by now 😂!! I can't tell you how many different kinds I've tried -- cheap to expensive - and this takes the cake.

I am really annoyed with this product due to its lack of quality specifically when ordering through Amazon. I've been a fan of this eyebrow pencil for a little while now as I feel that it applies well and also like the texture. I recently decided to order through Amazon as it's more convenient and I pay for Amazon Prime so it beats having to scramble when I run out.I first placed an order for four pencils in early June to stock up. 2 of the 4 worked ok , the other two however, kept breaking off when applying even though I use light strokes. I figured it might have been due to the heat even though I store them in a generally cool place. I was bummed that I couldn't get full use from the two remaining pencils and decided to reorder another pencil to test the quality.I ordered the second pencil in early August and was satisfied with the quality.This brings me to a week ago when I decided to order another two pencils. The first one I've opened is already halfway because it keeps crumbling. To make matters worse, it doesn't retract. Ugh this hit and miss has been a total waste of money. I am really disappointed with the quality and would not recommend this product.
