It is what it is. A medium quality rim with a soft compound rubber inflatable tire. I am sure I could track down the parts to assemble this myself for less money but this is more convenient.I have been using the Knee Rover for a couple of years and this is the second rim I have had to replace. On the first rim the bead failed after about a year. The second one was run over by a car so not an issue with the quality. The rims are never true and since they are molded cannot be adjusted or straightened. If it is for the rear tire where the brakes are on the rover one side or the other wil always rub no matter how you adjust the brakes. Not terrible just a bit annoying.As I mentioned, the tire is a very soft rubber compound and thus wears out very quickly if you put any mileage on it at all. I cover about 3 miles per day and get about two months use from these tires. I replace them with harder tires for about 10 dollars each from the bike shop.Finally, I wish they had shipping options upon ordering. There is no option for expedited shipping. Since this is essential to my ability to get around, waiting a week for delivery is not an attractive option.

Beware this is only one tire for the 50 bucks. After looking at so many tires that were two tires in a set and MUCH less3cpensive, i mad3 the assumption that 5his was two wheels for $50. If I had even thought it was just one tire, I wuld not have wasted $50. I am newly widowed and getting finances in order. After medical and household bills, I am left on a very tight budget. I blam3 y self for not verifying that this is just one tire, but the low rating is because it isn’t completely clear on the ad. AND the tire does not fit my walker

Just got this wheel/tire in the mail from Amazon. I needed to order one since one of my wheels on my all terrain knee Rover scooter was damaged. After receiving this, right away you are able to tell that they aren’t the same. You can see from the pictures that the larger thicker tire is the one is the good wheel that is still on my scooter and the smaller/thinner one is the wheel that came from Amazon. After measuring it’s about an entire 3/4 of an inch thinner.I’m giving this three stars because the wheel/tire does still fit and work. So far it doesn’t have any issues but it’s definitely not the same as the original.So just beware before purchasing everyone.

The second day I used the knee Rover, I got a flat tire. Thought it was a question of bad luck and decided to buy an original replacement wheel. Just after one week, the rim was completely torn as can be seen in the picture. So beware of the quality of these wheels.I have contacted the company. If and when they honor the warranty, I’ll update this review

I bought my knee scooter in 2014 after a wreck left me unable to walk. I have used it for over 4 years on and off, and have let 2 other people borrow it after surgery. It is truly a life saver. The back tire finally went out and I contacted the company about replacing it. The guy, can not remember his name, was very helpful and even texted me to make sure it was the correct fit. I am walking now but scheduled for another surgery in April 2019 and will be glad I still have my knee scooter.
