JGR Copa Beach Umbrella Anchor Sand Auger and Fishing Pole Sand Anchor (Blue)

So happy with this umbrella anchor. It goes into the sand pretty easily and stays secure. Even passed the test as a storm was approaching and the wind picked up! Wish I'd always had it!!

Large and very sturdy. Takes a bit of strength to screw in, but it stays in place. Would recommend.

I was able to drill it into the ground easily. But my ground has soft top soil. As a ham, I was able to hold a 17foot fiberglass telescopic mast to hold a vertical wire to use as a portable HF antenna. I only use the mast on a temporary basis. Since it worked well for me, I know it will work ok at the beach or at a park as well.

Not as strong as I hoped.

I used this on my recent Northern Michigan beach vacation. I had to use some elbow grease to screw it into the sand, but that is to be expected. It took me about 2 minutes to screw it in and insert my umbrella. It's adjustable so many sizes of umbrella could be used. Once I had it set up, I didnt have to readjust anything for the rest of the day! I'm very happy with this purchase.

Makes you beach umbrella set up super easy and super strong. Highly recommend

Need spike at end to anchor into sand. Most with rounded end do not hold in sand.

Used in 10 to 12 mph winds at beach today and it tilts and pulls up. I redid it multiple times but same result.
