The Only Bad Fiio Product I've Ever Used
I was interested in the LC-BT1 due to its attractive price point and specifications: particularly the use of separate Bluetooth and DAC chips, and Fiio app support. I decided to give it a chance despite the bad reviews.TL;DR: The bad reviews are right. Don't buy this.Using two MMCX IEMs (Sony XBA-H3 and 7hz Timeless) I compared the Fiio LC-BT1 to two other MMCX Bluetooth cables I own: the eight-year-old Sony MUC-M1BT1, and the six year old Westone BT Cable v1. Their ages are relevant because in terms of technology, they are ancient and the LC-BT1 should easily outperform them... But it doesn't.The LC-BT1 had trouble powering the XBA-X3's hybrid triple drivers, and max volume was embarrassingly lower than the other two cables are able to produce. For both the XBA-H3 and TImeless, the sound quality through the LC-BT1 was muddy and simply unenjoyable; both older cables are superior in this regard. But the biggest downfall of the Fiio cable is its Bluetooth reception. Rarely, I'll get audio dropouts on my Sony and Westone cables when my player is in my back pocket and I'm in a wide-open space (such as when mowing the lawn), but this is so infrequent that both cables are still perfectly usable under those conditions. With the Fiio, the audio dropouts were constant and infuriating any time a wandered more than three feet away from a wall, tree, or fence; in other words, completely unusable outdoors, even when walking slowly behind a lawn mower. To be fair, unlike other reviewers, I did not experience any audio dropouts walking around the house, or with my player on a table a few feet away, in the same room. I did not assess call quality or battery life.If you're interested in the Fiio brand, I own (and highly recommend) their UTWS5 true wireless MMCX ear hooks. Or, for a more budget-friendly option in a Bluetooth cable form-factor, consider the TRN BT3S Pro, which I purchased upon returning the LC-BT1. The TRN is superior to the Fiio cable in sound quality, and I've tested it while mowing the lawn and shopping for groceries without any audio dropouts.I've enjoyed Fiio products for years, and plan to continue to do so. But first, we should all skip the LC-BT1 and let it die in peace.

It was good, but now is very unreliable.
The head set worked well for awhile with 2-3days a week usage, but now every time I go to use it after an hr the light stops flashing and does not pair to my galaxy note 10 plus. Then it will not turn off to rest no matter the amount of time I hold the power button or combo of buttons. The only way to get it out of this error is to plug it in, but I keep the unique charger at home as to not lose it. This has left me with out a working headset when needed.

Good BT adapter overall, but charging accessories (custom connector)...
I got this adapter from my wife for my birthday. The BT adapter itself is great and is working fine. The charging adapters that are included (2, nice) are proprietary and one of them seems to have melted itself... because there is no short circuit protection and it has a magnet in it. So I am not totally out of luck I still have 1 charger but I am seriously disappointed that the other one melted. A micro USB plug would have made this adapter a 5 of 5. The magnetic chargers drop this product down to a 4. DO NOT LEAVE THE CHARGER PLUGGED IN NEAR ANY FERROUS METAL, the magnet will draw it to the metal and the contacts on the charger will short out.

POS stay away
Waste of money. Thing worked as expected first day or two and then started to notice problems. the connection is easily interrupted cannot walk into another room and it even happens just feet away from device from just moving my arm. Power button doesnt work sometimes and have to put it on the charger to reset it. Worse is there is a constant hissing sound. Also feels really cheap. Returning it and going to try the more expensive one and hope to not have problems.

not worth it
Holy crap these were bad, Im a bit disappointed as i like Fiio and their equipment but these are just, bad. I could place my hand over whatever device i was connected to and would instantly loose signal. Put it in your back pocket, no signal. Walk more than 10 feet away, no signal. not worth.

Electronic noise.
This cable is being used with Kbear KS1 IEms. when paired with a galaxy s8, connection when inside was very short range and when going outside music would become unlistenably skippy. When used with an iPhone 13 mini the connection has improved even when going outside. The AptX codec is suppoesdly better but I do notice a minor quality difference when streaming mp3s i’ve imported into my music app. From when I used my s8 with the poweramp player. The major problem with this cable is a constant beep while media is active . The buds do go to a sleep mode and emit silence after about a minute; however , when the connection to a device is live there is a constant electronic noise coming to both channels and it is louder on the left side.Battery life seems to be roughly 3-4 hours, somewhat disappointing if you wanted to go for long walks or just leave this lying around in a backpack. shorter workouts with cheap iems. i like to use these and then swap out the cable on my ks1’s, this might not be the best idea for that connector in the long term and i have actually bent this cable on the right side lying on it in bed one night.

Overall quality is ok
The build quality and fit is fine. The sound is quite good. However, I deducted 2 stars because if you are more than two or three meters away there are constant drop outs.

IEM’s would fall off
I tried them on both Moondrop Aria and Moondrop Blessings 2 and the fit was too loose so they constantly fell off. Also sound quality is extremely degraded (which is kinda expected tbh).
