The instructions were a bit confusing due to the host of different installation options and the hardware is a bit flimsy, but I can't complain for the price. I used this to mount a Bose Solo Series II to a Vizio M-Series and the sound bar is flush with the bottom of the TV. You can't see the mount and the sound bar is securely attached, which is all you can ask for.If you're attaching to an existing wall-mounted TV, you will likely have to remove the TV from the wall which is a bit of a pain, especially if you have a larger TV. That's less a fault of the product and more of a head's up for what you're getting yourself into.

I should have purchased this sooner, but I didn't know sound bar mounts existed. My TV is in my living room sitting atop a wood TV Stand. The living room opens up to the dining room. There is a couch in between the living room and the dining room and because my sound bar sits on the TV stand below the TV the sound is hard to hear and it has no clarity when watching TV from the dining room. Our only remedy was to turn the sound up very loud. I thought I was going to have to mount my sound bar on the wall above the TV, which I didn't want to do.I was searching Amazon for something else and happened to see sound bar mounts. What a discovery! After a little research on sound bar mounts I chose this one because I thought it said VIZIO. I thought, oh it's a VIZIO so surely it will fit my VIZIO TV and VIZIO sound bar. After realizing it was VIVO (after it had already shipped) I wasn't too worried about it, others have used the product without issue so I figured that would be my experience as well. The price for this mount is cheaper than some others and that appealed to me too.The hardware is great! Black powder coating and the metal pieces feel sturdy. All of the screws and nuts threaded perfectly. I checked the packing list and everything was in the box. The instructions do NOT have a lot of words, but they do have lots of diagrams so you should be able to figure it out, eventually ;-). After understanding what I needed to do, I installed the mount in less than 10 minutes. Now I can sit in my dining room with the volume down low and hear everything clearly.

The instructions just let me trying to figure out what to do because they’re not really explicit. In the end I couldn’t get all the pieces to match up so, as you see by the picture, I decided to just run the metal barnfrom sound bar to the TV diagonally and it’s perfect. I was overthinking it when the best solution was the easiest. But this kit is made of a quality metal and the sound bar is not going to go anywhere. in my case I put it on top of the TV and it’s very sturdy it looks good it was worth the money

This soundbar mount was incredibly easy to install. I love that it can be adjusted and it is easy to move the soundbar once mounted. The idea of mounting a soundbar directly to the tv is great! This is such a space saver and makes it easy to move tv/soundbar together. I wish I had found this sooner!

So the curve on the back of my Vizio meant that the brackets couldn't sit flat on the back of the TV unless I had bought hardware and spacers longer than what's included. That is fine though, because these as soft/pliable enough that you can bend them by hand to adjust them to comply. If they were more ridgid I wouldn't be happy with them actually, and the hardware included is pretty well thought out. You could possibly do it cheaper with hardware store metal and hardware, but that would be tricky with the cost of metal from most places, and don't forget your time is valuable and running in circles for hardware is a time suck. Definitely would suggest this to friends or buy again if needed.

I have a 27" Dell Ultrasharp monitor and wanted to mount my computer speakers on either side of the screen. I just bought a VIVO desk mount so I figured I might as well by this kit as well for the speakers. I knew up front this was built of TV's and large sound bars but figured this kit would be fine for what I was doing. Well, it kinda worked. I had to go to hardware store and buy some extra screws/washers/nuts and after about 6 or 7 different comminations and layouts I got it to work. The biggest problem I had was with the short pieces having limited "turn motion" due to the way its shaped. I could invert the two pieces but then it was hard to get tension and it would be too loose and fall. Maybe these issues are unique to my use case, not sure. The price is good though and it was worth a shot. In the end I got it to work eventually, but it was not easy.

I did not buy the depth adjustment one. I think this would be a cleaner look and probably worth it for maybe a living room. This was just for my bedroom and liked the cleaner look of attaching to TV rather than more holes in my wall. It's also nice that it moves in the direction of your tv view rather than fixed on the wall with sound coming out one way, but you've got the tv turned sideways.I think its a good buy especially for $12.99. It wasn't too bad to install. Just required a some trial and error, but my boyfriend had it mounted by the time I had cooked dinner.

Worked for me and I only ended needing the two small pivoting pieces of the kit. I used the VIVO speaker mount to mount Vizio SB4551-D5 45" 5.1 Channel SmartCast soundbar to Vizio M55-D0. After reading the installation sheet I was not looking forward to unmount my TV and putting this up. I lucked out because M55-D0 series has two stands at each bottom corner which are unoccupied when you mount the tv on the wall so I figured that the two pivoting pieces would do the trick and they worked perfectly even the spacing b/w the TV and Soundbar was almost the same as recommended.Even though I didn't use the entire system, the mount is strudy and well built and comes with the plenthora or screws and spacers etc. (the screws that I needed for my purposes weren't in there but I am not going to take a star for that since I did a "macgyver" install. ;)
