Quality product, quality packaging & excellent sound quality.

Expensive. Did not notice sound difference between this and directly plugged to source. Usually I can hear differences in cables but I did not hear any changes. Great adaptor 4.4 to 2.5

I've been a balanced fan for music for many years, well before it was main stream. I have had several 2.5 connections break, making my DAP useless. One of the most costly items, other than the headphones, is cables.I just got a M11 DAP that use a 4.4 connection, along with many other outputs. Most of my headphones are set for XLR4 and used with a main amps/DAC. The M11 is powerful enough to use good headphones. While I intend to upgrade my cables to use the 4.4, this will allow me to use the M11 without having to rush the swap.

It functions without any issues and sound quality-wise it doesn't do harm to my ears.However, just like any silver cable, it alters sound features very noticeably. Base is slightly recessed and treble is extended. If you're plugging it to a hifi gear like an iem, be aware that it will change how it sounds, not only the frequency balance but also the staging and tonality. These changes are good or bad, major or minor, depending on your setup and listening preference.It's pretty interesting and fairly cheap (compared to its overpriced colleagues made by the reputed cable makers) as a sound tuning cable, though you might want to find alternatives if looking for a "plain" adapter.

I purchased this to use with my Deconi 4.4mm balanced HD600 series cable. I could not be happier! This is a quality constructed adapter. Pricey but again you always get what you pay for most of the time. In this case absolutely. Highly recommended!!

This will be short and to-the-point.You already know if you might need this or not. If you are on the fence, just do it. The quality and craftsmanship is astounding. I use it to convert all my 4.4mm headphones to 2.5mm, then plug into my Qudelix 5k. Works flawlessly. Trust me, you will thank yourself.

After six uses, the female side of the plug would no longer seat. The left channel then stopped working as a result. Too expensive for this kind of failure this early. Avoid

Very happy with this converter. The fit and finish is excellent.I use a balanced headset for my Sony HD music player, but wanted to use the same headset for connections to my laptop or while on airplanes. I compared the audio quality with other converters I have and going from balanced to std stereo had minimal change and no noticeable white noise.Excellent!
