Why don't you just return the original package back to Amazon? I did. So you have your choice of either getting your refund or a replacement. Actually I told the seller about their packaging is not properly separating all their parts.

Q: How do i return out of the box defective unit ?

You can return it Amazon center or Kolh department store, just show them your delivery label. I return some of the product with the same shipping box.
