great read, perhaps too pleasant and easy
While is was a wonderful read, easy and pleasant, with a lot of clarity, and not one sentence less than true, it is perhaps missing intellectual discovery and depth of research: the scary aspects of writing that make any book truly thrilling.

"Best Book for Newbies and Experienced Agents to Build their Business
I am the managing broker of a busy real estate brokerage with 20+ agents. I gift every new agent a copy of this book and we use it together to help mark out their personal marketing strategy. No one beats Buffini for teaching agents how to hold on to their clients for the long haul.

Now I know what all the fuss is about...
My sister-in-law has generated so many enthusiastic advocates for her real estate career, making her an amazing success, I simply HAD to see what all the fuss was about. Note, Brian Buffini and his pal, Joe Niego, do not reinvent the wheel. They simply train you how to turn past clients and certain categories of your database, into advocates that will sell you and your business to their friends. All you must do is earn their trust and loyalty. This book is a generous highlight of the Buffini method, and it did inspire to me sign-up for the Buffini Peak Producers program, which is way more thorough than this book, including goal-setting, database developing, how-to instructions, and action plans. Easy read, I finished in only a few hours.

STORY BOOK
This was more of a story book. Author wanting you to get a coach most likely him. You can Google his methods and save time (from reading the book) and money (buying the book). I like his methods my friend told me about him. Im not saying the author is not a good coach just referring to this book.

A natural fit for my personality - relational
As a newer agent I loved this book! My personality naturally fits the way Brian describes doing business...taking care of your clients, kindness, integrity, always keeping them in mind and letting them know you care. I love developing relationships and helping people and Brian gives some excellent tips on how to do that so you are able to grow your business through referrals which is a much more natural fit to me than some of the other transactional approaches out there. Brian is all about building relationships. It's an easy read as well with ideas you can begin implementing immediately.

Brian Buffini's philosophy on business referrals can apply across multiple industries. His writing is folksy and easy to follow.

Must read for Sales Professional
I read a lot of books, and I blew through this one in about a day without being dissatisfied at all. I even recommended it to other associates in my office. It has some of the best action steps for any person in any independent sales career (especially real estate). There isn't a lot of fluff (which I find in most books of this type) and it's not 300 pages either. One of the most valuable tools for turning your business around and creating a great future business full of referrals.

It's okay. The vast majority of Sales Professionals including ...
It's okay. The vast majority of Sales Professionals including Realtors will not be able to grow business only from their existing/growing book of business. For most Sales Professionals working by referral will be one branch in their business tree alongside prospecting/new lead generation by working expireds and floor and call ins from Yard Signs and email ins from internet. Definitely work the Referral business of your business but also keep trimming the business from other branches as well. Tom Ferry and Mike Ferry should also be looked at as well as Brian Buffini.
