These suck
I am an offshore fisherman that has not done it since 2010 or so and am just now getting back into it. So, I need a pair of pliers that will cut, mono, braid and cable. Look at the pic as this is fresh out of the box. These won't cut butter. I bought them because I bought a quality filet knife of Bubba's at Academy thinking these were also. BS Don't waste your money!

Super heavy and rust Immediately even after fresh water clean
I thought from a name like Bubba that this would be high-quality and one of the best pair of pliers I would ever buy little to find out after one yellowtail trip to Coronado islands they rusted almost immediately actually on the boat and I wash all my stuff off with clean water after every use not to mention that they are extremely heavy

Works great.
Amazing pliers. Only bad thing was the cutter broke first time I used on large line. Looking for replacements. Will update when found.

Strong and excellent grip
I am a picky SOB. IMHO, these are the best pliers I’ve ever seen in the fishing realm. Strong and beautiful. Excellent grip in wet conditions. Perfect for removing hooks in redfish and largemouth bass to name a couple. Also well made enough to do fine tasks. First time I felt compelled to write a review due to my surprise in the quality.
