Maca provides good boost to physical and mental energy for me (40 something woman) without being addictive. I do not have any withdrawal symptoms if miss couple of days, but certainly feel better overall on the days I take it. I use both powder and pill forms, pills are convenient when you do not have time to make a morning shake. I do not see a great deal in boosting my libido (my best boosters are good restful sleep and no kids around lol), but my husband does.Of course like most supplement healthy life style and nutrition are the keys, no amount of maca can outweigh loaf of French bread and bag of cookies.Good deal on a price as well vs the same brand at health food store.

I'm a bit skeptical, so I took one pill every two days, hence if anything went wrong, I would be able to say goodbye to my family. And when I woke up at 5 am, I stay awake all day nonstop untill 10pm, feels like I'm 19 again(29 male), it's almost terrifying and overwhelmingly unwieldy and I really don't know what to do with all that extra time and energy...I felt sleepy after lunch everyday, and I haven't felt it anymore since I took the pill. I wanted to take a nap at noon, but my body was too energized to do so. It's a habit I had since I don't know, 4 years ago. Coffee never worked on me, and I have never smoked and rarely drink in my life, and I have never used any drug, but I suppose this is how you feel when you are high.Is it normal? This is a great alternative to Prescription Testosterone Replacement in my experience. It is not only more cost effective than my prescription of androgel, but it works with the body. As long as I keep up with this my levels stay healthy.

My husband is taking this and seems to be fine, not better or worse than before he started taking it so I can only assume that this might take longer to work or that my husband is someone who doesn't benefit from this product.

I don't understand how it works but have used it for years with great results. I recommend it highly for women who are going through menopause and afterwards, as well.
