ALMOST PERFECT
The media could not be loaded. Pros:Really a great flashlight and love that it uses rechargeable 18650 batteries. Flashlight has 5 levels of brightness and each is noticeably different from one another. Flashlight will save last setting used so you don't have to cycle through the modes every time you use it. Compact design is great and the flat/stand up bottom is useful.Cons:Lockout feature is useless, .5sec depression of power button turns it on. If it's in a pocket or a bag that feature can can easily happen without you knowing it. Power button is not recessed so again, too easy to accidentally turn on. I've resorted to storing it 1/4" loose to prevent accidental use. Would have loved this flashlight if it has a "momentary on" feature and even better if the power button was in the tail cap of the flashlight instead (similar to Surefire EB1).Other notes:The charging cable is "whatever", neither good nor bad. Smart idea to combine it with a micro USB but for me it sort of make it feel cheap. The magnetic charging connection is solid and works. I've opted for a different solution and purchased spare 18650 batteries and a separate charging station. I carry 2 spares with me, more power than I could use in several days of usage. Flashlight construction is solid, it fits well and is comfortable to hold. They included a spare O-ring which is nice as well as the belt holster (I don't use but nice that it's included).I lent it to a friend who was going on an evening walk in complete darkness, he loved it and said he was going to buy one after using it.If Fenix updates this to have a better protected tail cap power button, I'd order the newer version as it would be the "perfect" flashlight (for me).I've attached a video demonstrating the power setting. Flashlight was 10' away from the wall at 10am on a cloudy day and about 15' away from a wall of windows. Imagine how bright this would be in complete darkness, very impressive!!!****As a warning to those sensitive to strobing lights... the video is 19sec long and ends in strobe mode.

Terrific little torch with big output.
Love this torch. It has a pleasing ‘heft’, but fits nicely in the pocket. Last week I heard noises in the courtyard and from an upstairs window I shone the torch down and the whole area was simply brilliantly illuminated in bright white light - no shadows, and no dark areas. I purchased it so I could walk my dog on the beach at night and still see to lean up even if he was 100 metres away. It does that job nicely too. My electrician was around the other day and asked me for a torch to see into a dark area. He was so impressed he asked for the product details and then noted that it had a really superior battery, which by the way lasts for a long time. I like the different modes. Low light for just walking at night all the way up to incredibly bright light to see clearly hundreds of meters away. I got it months ago and have yet to recharge it. Good quality, well made and a real keeper.

2nd Fenix flashlight I bought that now doesn't work
I bought this flashlight (Fenix RC11) on March 3rd, 2018. It was working great . Iv'e been using it regularly, probably only had to charge it a couple of times. Now, like the one i bought on 11/29/17 ( Fenix UC30) , it is not working. It only works on one setting while it is plugged in charging. This is almost the exact same problem i had with the 1st one I bought. That one was refunded to me by Amazon. I will never buy another Fenix flashlight ( or other products ), they seem to be good for under a year. Amazon was good about the original faulty flashlight, I don't have a complaint about them. Fenix flashlights seem unreliable.

Nice flashlight
Works great. Very bright. Only complaint is that it takes longer then I would like to turn it off. You have to press and hold the button.. not just a click.

Impressive Lumen Output in a Small Size
I use it nightly in my worl. Excellent battery life per charge. On highest output it's like a palm sized spotlight. Do not like side switch design! Hard to find in the dark. A magnetic base and bottom push button switch would make it the perfect light.

Didnt work all the time
I returned it because it worked sometimes and not others, I had to turn the head piece back and forth to make a connection so it would work , wasn't impressed

FENIX RC11
