F.I.R.E. Kept Simple
One of the most important life skills a person can learn, but not really taught or well understood by many. On the surface it seems so out of reach and unachievable, but Michael does a phenomenal job of keeping it simple so someone with zero to no experience in saving and investing can follow and apply.Apply is the key word here because the book is designed to not just be read, but applied with all the worksheets and exercises. As the author mentions, learning is not a passive activity, and this workbook makes it an active activity you can follow along. I recommend doing all the exercises as you read as it will build your knowledge and expertise. There are couple things that set this book apart from other investment books. First, I really think giving is the corner stone to the human experience, and what truly allows a person to receive. I'm glad Michael discussed that because too many wealth and finance advice revolve around making, receiving, and growing losing sight of the bigger purpose to it all. Also, as Michael mentions, financial independence is less about tactics and more about mindset, so I liked the focus on working on your mindset and beliefs. I liked some of the statements he offered to change mindset and beliefs which I hope to use as affirmations.A big part of financial independence is managing debt, which isn't easy. Michael lays out clear strategies to keep yourself out of debt, if however, you have already fallen into debit, he gives simple tips to get yourself out.Overall a great book that covers all the basis of becoming financially independent and retiring early, I know you will gain a lot of value :)

Engaging and Informative! A MUST buy
Wow! This book is chock full of information. For someone like me who has done some saving and some investing without much of a plan, the book is a call to wake up, pay attention, and take control of your financial life. I'll be honest. I have never been very interested in finances. In fact, the only other finance book I've read was by John Bogle (he was the creator of Vanguard) some 20 years ago-also a great book, but far less readable and user-friendly than Michael's. The advice is appropriate for people at all stages of their lives, and I appreciate how Michael Quan places tremendous value on non-monetary priorities, such as family, friends, time, and hobbies. He helps confront your perceptions about money and asks you to evaluate how your belief system has positively or negatively affected your outcome. Then, he leads you step by step on paths that have worked not just for him, but for many others, to achieve financial independence. I picked up this book partly for how it felt. It's a paperback, but printed and bound in such a way that it holds very comfortably. In fact, the pages are actually stitched, which allow the book to lay flat when open. This is a more expensive binding style, but such a treat for the reader as it will hold up to a lot of physical use. I'm all about my kindle, but there is no match when it comes to the hard copy here-the diagrams, worksheets, etc. are amazing.

Practical, Simple, and Doable Instruction
What I love about this book is that it's a planner where you just learn and do while going through it. Anyone can find more financial freedom when they become aware of how easy it can be based on the simple advice that Michael so clearly instructs the reader to do. Lay out a full plan to financial freedom and early retirement that is practical and so doable! Highly recommend for anyone wanting to get there, especially those who don't really understand finances. You will now!

Amazing book everyone should read!
Michael Quan’s guide is an outstanding resource for understanding all aspects of financial freedom. He thoroughly covers numerous areas related to early retirement, making it accessible to anyone seeking financial independence. The principles are clearly written and easy to implement, provided one is willing to take action after exploring the different ways to achieve financial freedom. This book truly has something for everyone. I was so impressed that I even bought a couple more copies for my kids to read.

It's like having a caring, wealthy friend personally show you how to be financially independent! ;)
If you're like me, you might say "I'm not good with money" or "It's probably too late" and think the possibility of tremendously improving your financial reality and future is not in the cards for you.IT'S NOT TOO LATE!The way the book is written, organized, formatted and how it's full of ACTIONABLE steps built right in, it makes it so EASY to take that first step, which in my opinion is believing that it's possible at all. There is no judgement here. Only the most genuine, meaningful, real advice you might get if you had a brother or best friend who was a multi-millionaire who actually took the time to lay everything out as clearly as possible for you.The focus of this book is all on YOU and your success. The steps, stories, activities and concepts otherwise complex have been thoughtfully broken down and presented so that literally everyone can understand it. Even someone like me. ;)I am extremely selective about what I put out there online, and never usually say anything about a product or person. However, I have to say this book has the potential to change lives, and give everyone a chance for a life of financial freedom! Yes, even you!
