First, this is an excellent item. Strong and supportive. Comes with all the tools and items necessary to fit to a set of steps.The only thing at fault is the design and materials for the cover for the support feet. It is cheap tinplate, when fitted, it doesn't fit together cleanly. It's made in two parts, but sprayed when locked together, which leaves the tags that fit bare. Honestly, having made such a good product then finish it with a tatty cover, not good.But still a 5 star, and I would order again if needed.

Very sturdy helps husband get up steps better now giving him support

The instructions were a bit vague, and far too many screws were provided but with a bit of common sense, this handrail is fairly easy to.put up, and once in place is strong and sturdy.If fitting into concrete steps, you need a high power drill

Purchased this for a customer - was slightly concerned buying a product like this online - but very impressed with the quality for the price - very easy to install with everything you need contained in the box, very sturdy once installed and nice appearance

Hand rail very good fixing cheep crap

Why did you choose this product over others?:This item is well made and comes complete with all fixtures and fittings including expanding bolts for attaching to brickwork or stone and heavy duty wood screws for attaching to wood, a masonry bit, an open ended spanner and Allen keys.Good value for money.

Measure accurately, think how it works and how it secures to the floor, step or incline. Good functionality, yes value for money, looks and feels robust once you have installed properly. would recommend.

First things first this is a well designed and very rugged item and is definitely value for money however….1) The drill bit that is comes with is terrible, it didn’t even scratch the surface of the slabs let alone brick that was being drilled into and i had to go and purchase a proper 12ml drill bit.2) The anchor bolts this comes with are way too thin and too short to even grip the hole at all, and they appeared flimsy and cheap - again I purchased some RAWL anchor bolts for an extra £10-£15 and these work an absolute treat!All in all this is a high quality item with just cheap / poor accessories but with bit of trial and error I managed to fit this rail once I had the relevant bits and it was then easy to install.It looks good aesthetically and matches the decor / theme on the house once fitted! Although a tad annoying I would use this brand again in the future!
