Beautiful Kalimba!
This kalimba is so beautiful both design wise and sound wise. It is a bit heavier than a usual one since it has 34 keys, but I find it more comfortable to hold. I have run into a few buzzing keys but it is a very simple fix, just gently tap the top of the tines with the hammer provided and it fixes it nicely. This kalimba sounds so smooth and beautiful and has more notes to play around with which is super cool! I highly recommend this for those who love playing and want a more advanced instrument. I wouldn't necessarily recommend to a beginner given the price range, but it isn't bad for one either.

Kind of easy to learn, hard to master!
I don't even know why I bought this. I guess it looked great on pictures but I went for it. I was REALLY happy when I got it but was hit with reality: This thing is not for newbies!. You need to learn how to make sounds on it, where the notes are and how to play. it takes time. Once you get the hang of it you start having a lot of fun and this thing has a BEAUTIFUL sound.I'm still learning to play it but it could also be used as a very nice instrument on display. It even comes with a display stand if you so wish to use it like that. In my case I keep it on its case and only take it out when I wanna practice.Beautiful instrument, sweet sounding and the craftmanship is top notch. I really love it. Not so much the price.

Exactly what I hoped for
It has a really beautiful tone and good responsiveness. Sure, you'll need to tune it here and there but that's how all other musical instruments work too. I can't imagine a better quality kalimba, if I'm honest.

Great buy!
I have been playing this Kalimba for 2 months now, have put in about 120 hours. I absolutely love it! The keys ring beautifully, very easy to tune. A clip on tuner fits perfectly on this Kalimba. It is heavier than a hollow 17 key, I prop it up with a little pillow. Great buy!

Exquisite Tone
This is my first kalimba. I wanted to be able to play any song without having to retune to include sharps and flats based on the key written in or transpose existing sheet music to C major. So far I have the bottom row tuned. The center tines are not easy, but I solved the access issue by placing the round end of the tuning hammer on each tine individually and pressing (not tapping) it down until the side guides prevented further downward movement. This caused those keys to be substantially flat but bringing them back up to the correct key was easy to do by tapping the long exposed ends of the tines. It's been a long time since I've owned a musical instrument. Finding something that sounds this beautiful, doesn't require electricity or batteries, and is small is a huge bonus. I know I will enjoy my kalimba for many years.***Update***Easy method for accessing the tops of the difficult to reach tines: Place the flat tip of a #40 machine screw on the top of the tine that needs to be lowered in pitch and tap the head of the screw with the tuning hammer. I just did this for all 17 lower tines and it was a breeze.

it sounds a rich deep tone
It is a great kalimba with a smooth tone. however, it does not stay in tune ,it always needs tune after a short duration of play.

Pretty, and plays pretty well, but with functional issues
This kalimba is one of the prettiest I've seen: Evenly glossed wood with a slightly heavy feel to it, and notes on top of each other with a total of 34. As well as this, when I first played the instrument out of the box, it played beautifully and I could play a variety of songs. The same day that I got it I played it for several hours and noticed that it was starting to go out of tune :( as well as this the notes were wobbling around and it soon became unplayable. If you buy this kalimba, make sure you either have glue or a high amount of patience to deal with the product breaking apart.
