Casper DOGBD-SB-GY-US-JEF Memory Foam Pet Bed, Small, Gray

I ordered this bed because I wanted something more comfortable for my dog who is now quite old. As soon as I opened the box a toxic smell hit me, so I googled the material the bed is made from to see if it's toxic. As it turns out, memory foam may contain toxic chemicals such as formaldehyde, benzene, and naphthalene. Memory foam may also contain isocyanates, which, according to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, can cause irritation of the eyes, nose, throat, and skin. The design and color of the bed are very nice - too bad it's made out of a toxic material! I returned it asap.

I bought it for the dog, but the cats loved it. Now I have to buy another one, hopefully still for the dog...

The media could not be loaded.  If this joke is what Casper products are like I cannot imagine how upset people who have purchased the mattress must be. I have spent less money on better dog beds that were much higher quality than this. Shame on Casper.

I would say this bed is easy to put together and take apart for cleaning but it's a huge inconvenience. It's is hard as a rock and not comfortable. My dog wouldn't not sleep on it and she loves her beds! I returned this pricey dog bed and got her a fluffy cheap bed and she's been snoozing all day. I wouldn't waste your money.

I think the bed is fantastic and its a great price for this level of quality! However, it makes a crinkly sound when the dog steps on to it that my dog doesn't like. She slept in it once and that was it! My girlfriend visits with her dog though, and her dog loves it!! My dog loves the little toy that came with it though!
