I bought this for my husband who works in a blue collar service industry. He’s been using it for about a week and he loves it. He takes food from the fridge in the morning, lets it ride in his work van until lunchtime and then plugs the lunch box in when he’s about ready to take his lunch break. He says it takes about an hour for the food to get acceptably warm using the 12V power cord but it only takes about half an hour using the 110V power cord for the food to be piping hot. I will say that his idea of acceptably warm is not hot enough for me but I’m sure if he planned better and was more patient the car charger would be just fine. I also love that the food container pops out and can go in the dishwasher. I’m so happy that he gets to have hot lunches and he’s not buying fast food every day.

Depending on what you put inside, makes a difference in terms of how long it will take to heat up. First time, I put food that took up maybe 1/3 of the container. I set it for maybe 30 mins and almost burned my food. The 3rd time, I filled it, expecting to eat hot soup 45mins later. Only the bottom was effected.The 2nd time, I forgot to push the button to start heating and maybe had 1/2 a container of food. Which brings me to another factor. The red button when pushed won't be as red and blaring as indicated in the picture. So keep that in mind when you're looking at it from afar. The best way to know if you've pushed it far enough is to see that the button is red at an angle. Not straight on.

I prepare lunch for my husband and I don't worry about whether his food will be cold or if he can find somewhere to heat it up. He just plugs it into his car's lighter and that's it, just like freshly made at home.

So the actual heating part of the lunchbox kit works well but you really should stir your food every once in a while. Its almost like heating your food up in a pot on the stove. It will stick if you dont stir it. It works pretty well. The case that it comes in is pretty cheap though and it fell apart pretty fast, sadly so i had to toss that out but the actual heater box works well. Works well for when you dont have a microwave around but - seriously dont step away from it for too long. It would be cool if it had heater settings, almost like a crockpot but yeah, overall pretty cool.

This has been a lifesaver for me! I’m so tired of getting fast food or having cold food for lunch, this lunch box solved all my problems. In just about 10-30 minutes my lunch is warmed up and ready to enjoy. It’s very easy to clean, a great size for all sorts of meals I want to bring. Very portable and doesn’t weigh too much.

This thing has saved us money on my husband buying lunch. I give him left over from dinner and he warms this up prior to his lunch. He said food comes out hot after 1/2 hour. I put top and metal part in dishwasher and have no issue. Super easy to clean base as well. As for the spoon and fork I am not sure how both fit in the little storage because it bulges so I just put one of the utensils. So far it has lasted a spring/summer/fall season, so lets see how long it would last.

After reading reviews I couldn't wait to try this. Unfortunately, mine was a dud. It would start to heat but then turn off and not restart. I replaced it with a different type. It's wonderful.UPDATE:This company reached out to me offering to replace my faulty lunchbox. What? Customer service? Yes!Once I received the replacement I tried it out using A/C. It worked wonderfully. I haven't tried the D/C but I am betting it will work well.This is a nice looking, small unit. I really like the look of it.Thank you for reaching out and replacing my lunchbox. I would highly recommend buying from this company. Their willingness to provide excellent customer service makes this a risk free purchase.

I want to personally shake the hands of whoever came up with this! This has saved me to be able to eat a warm lunch every day. Being an assistant substitute I never know when my breaks will be, so having this on hand was a real life saver. I either brought lunch from home or would grab from the staff lunch room, whenever I was ready to eat it was always cold, now I enjoy my lunches nice and warm!
