Wonderful Bow
The bow is wonderful. Of course it required lots of rosin because itβs brand new but it produces beautiful sound.

great student bow
I'm a cello teacher and bought this to quickly replace my son's broken 1/2 size bow. I was pleasantly surprised. It is a better bow for less money than the last few student bows we have bought at the music store. It has a clean, attractive look, nice loud clear sound and seems sturdy. It remains to see how it will hold up to daily use, but if it performs as well as it seems that it will, we will be buying more student bows from Vingobow.

Seems like a decent enough bow for the price
I'm just picking up playing my cello again after many years of not playing so I needed a new bow. I didn't want to spend a lot of money right now since I don't know if I will stick with playing or not. I saw this carbon fiber bow referenced on a few websites saying it was an ok bow for the price so I decided to give it a try. If I do end up continuing to play I'll probably upgrade to a better bow but this seems perfectly adequate for the time being. So far the bow feels comfortable to hold and feels quite light. It came packaged quite well from the manufacturer. The bow itself was wrapped in foam sheeting and then the whole thing was sealed into a PVC tube to ensure it arrived safely. Amazon packed it well enough with their air pillows in a decently sized box and the bow was perfectly fine. The packaging was what I was worried most about due to it needing to be shipped but it looks like the manufacturer has that part figured out.I'll update this review later if I find any issues or have any problems with the bow.

Great bow
The bow arrived in a pretty well protected pvc pipe. And then some more protection. Wasn't to happy with the tape that was used because it was really strong and sticky. Making it quite hard to open, but considering how well the bow was protected I didn't mind to much. I am not a bow expert, but the overal quality looked very clean, well put together and strong. I bought this for a 10 year old and it has endured thus far. I am pretty satisfied.

Hairs started falling out within a week
Waste of money. The bow LOOKS beautiful, but within a week it was losing a hair here and there. 4 months in, almost 1/3 of the hairs have fallen out. Unless you wanna constantly spend money needlessly getting your bow redone, buy a better one.

Solid, stylish, and sleek.
I am a long time multi-instrumentalist but newer to cello. Wanted a carbon fiber bow to avoid chopping down trees and for durability in variable weather, travel, etc, and wanted something that was affordable but looked cool with my white electric cello :D. This fit the bill! Definitely heavier than the beginner brazilwood bow that I had been learning on with an acoustic cello prior to this, but that's my only basis for comparison. It came really securely packaged - multiple layers of protection, including a tube that I keep it in for safe keeping. Came with the black hairs as described and all intact. Yes the rosin leaves a whitish coating on the hairs but that doesn't affect the aesthetic for the audience viewer. In short, this bow feels like you're rocking out with Voldemort's wand.

It's soooo worth it.
This is my second vingobow. It's the best thing I've come across. It's better than my John Paul bow (I paid 2500) I am beyond impressed. It's well balanced, perfect weight, the hair quality is great. It's a good bow all aroundI've shown this bow to different luthiers here in Los Angeles and can believe the price for such a good bow.

QUALITY!!!!!
Just bought this for my new (used) cello! WOW. The packaging, the hair, the perfection! You want a bow that will last forever?! It is THIS BOW. BRAND NEW. GORGEOUS CRAFTMANSHIP. The fact of how it is delivered in a super secured tube, then put in a long box taped up---no way for it to arrived damaged in ANY way. Obviously, being brand new, you'll need to rosin the absolute heck out of it, but even so, creates beautiful sound! It could never be this bows fault for sound...that will depend on how much YOU practice, lol! Amennnn, thank yall for creating this bow!π
