Good, comfortable, and work
I chose these because the reviews were better than any of the well-known brands. I'm glad I chose them. I bought them specifically for a concert that included house and EDM music. Before the artist came onstage, it was still pretty loud in the club with the music they were playing, so I wore the clear pair, which allowed me to have conversations with my friends and the bartender. When the show started I switched to the grey ones; just like all the other reviews said, they were comfortable and stayed in my ears (to give you an idea of my earbud fit, I have very small ear canals, Apple earbuds are very uncomfortable for me). They effectively decreased the volume of the music without compromising the listening experience. I could still hear my friends talking to me, and could still hear the artists talking to the audience. After the show all my friends said their ears were ringing and they had headaches. I felt perfectly fine! No ringing. The show was almost 6 hours long, which was a lot longer than we'd expected. Near the end one of my ears did ache a little bit from the earbud but I think that can be attributed to my weird ear canals lol. What I was most worried about was that one or two reviews I read said that it was hard to get them out of their ears, but I didn't have this experience. They go in and come out very easily. Overall I really recommend them!!! Totally worth the price, love having a case for them, and the case is an appropriate size for a wallet or a bra if you don't have pockets.

Have tried many and this is a good set
The clear ones block less sound and are good for loud music. You can usually carry on a conversation with them in but that will depend somewhat on the conditions. Being clear they are not very noticeable in you ear. The fit is good if you have an average size ear canal. The dark ones will block out more sound. They are good for sleeping or anytime hearing conversation is not important but blocking more sound is. They are more visible in your ear and this may or may not be an issue for you. I would prefer to see them in a tan if the manufacturer is listening. These do give you a chance to try two levels of sound blocking if you are don't have experience with plugs of this type. The small pouch provided is a very important part of this kit and I suggest a lighter color to make it more visible. If ear plugs are critical for you to have, I suggest buying two sets so you have a back up pair stashed in an appropriate location.A couple things to keep in mind with any ear plugs. The size of ear canals can vary greatly from one person to another. A light film of mineral oil can make them easier to insert for some. You should practice with insertion before the first time you use them. They must form a seal in your ear to do any good. If placed loosely in the ear canal they will have no affect. You may have to try different ones to find one that works for you.The small case is great. Fits in your pocket without showing. The best bargain here - I think.

Hard to keep separate, but works as described
I am blind and I got these earplugs because I am sensitive to loud noises, but I still need to be able to hear what is around me. These work as described, but the only problem I had was that I could not tell what color they were. I had to call someone with an app on my phone and get them separated by color. Now I will have to find a way to keep them separate like maybe put one pair in a small bag inside the pouch. They feel pretty comfortable to me. I might use the 20 dB ones for an environment where I am trying to talk to people like on the train or the bus so I can hear my stop, but I would probably use the 29 dB ones for a louder environment like a party where I am trying to move around in here things, but I don't necessarily want to talk to people a lot. These also clarify the sound. For example, the voice on my phone sounds much more synthesized and nasally through these then it does through my regular ears. This can be really good because if you are listening to something with good sound quality, you can really enjoy it, but if something has bad sound quality, you will not be able to escape it. These have a very flat frequency so you will hear sounds in there purest form, maybe you were here then even more purely then your regular ears would give them to you. I'm not sure if your brain compensates or what happens, but that is all I know. I was looking for pure sound so that is good for me.

Perfect for front row in front of the speakers
I am so happy I bought these, I have been going to one concert or more a month for a couple of years now and the thought of losing my hearing or developing tinnitus is really scaring me so I got these earplugs. I was scared that I wouldn't hear much and it would be muffled but on the contrary it made the concert sooooo much better!! You know when you record a video and all you hear is the beat that saturates the whole sound? Well with these earplugs it takes it all away and you can hear the song AND lyrics so clearly than if you were listening to it off of a CD.I hate putting things in my ear but I sucked it up and they fit fine and comfortable, you will have to sometimes adjust them because they can come out a little where you hear the difference between them working and not working, as in your hear the saturated sound of the beat/bass. You want to make sure they are deep in there, though they will never fully come out and fall off no matter how much you dance around!I used it for both Childish Gambino, when I was away from the stage and it worked beautifully and for Death Cab for Cutie when I was in the second/third row from the railing in front of the stage and worked amazingly and enjoyed the show without hurting my ears and hearing everything just fine.I highly recommend these, protect your hearing because you can't improve it afterwards unless you want hearing aids later on.
