AWESOME harness. I ordered the medium when my German Shepherd was in the 35lb range. While he did grow out of it more quickly than I thought, I'm still able to use it and he's right about 50lbs now. I found this harness to be and EXCEPTIONAL training tool. He responds far better to correction when using this walking harness rather than a training or traditional collar. So rather than using the training collar in obedience class, we use this harness. This harness is also super easy to put it on. I have been very pleased with the quality of it as well. I like that it's reflective for night walks. When they are back in stock, I'll be ordering the L and XL as both will be well used. FWIW, I have used quite a few other harnesses in the past with my husky, and this one is far superior than any of the others I used. Very, very pleased.

I love this harness for my small dog, who has a delicate throat and chokes if pressure is exerted. It's easy to get on, so I don't have to struggle to get her into it. It does not act as a no-pull harness, however, as I found out with my big dog; unless I adjusted it so that the ring is in the front--in which case the harness does not fit ideally--or if I attached a caribiner to the front.If you have a dog that pulls, I recommend the Easy Walk Harness, to which the leash attaches in the front. This redirects the forward motion, which stops the dog pulling. (I'm a certified dog trainer, by the way.)

Love this harness!! Bought this for our Goldendoodle puppy. My husband bought a different harness at first, but it was so complicated to put on and the leash ring was still at the dogs chest. DexDog is ingenious! So easy to put on/take off - and two areas for adjustment to get the right fit. Ordered the medium and it was a bit large across chest but within 2 days our pup grew into it. Love that the leash ring is at the dogs back which keeps our pup from pulling on the leash and it's super easy for the kids to attach the leash and go without fear of nipping. Love the colors too - and built in reflective material/stitching. I was not paid and received no discount for this review. I'm just so impressed.

I really really liked the design at first. Now I'm so disappointed that I have to return it. First it looked like it's a perfect fit but after a few walks I've noticed that the clip/clasp rubs on our dogs armpit. The clip/clasp should be closer to the dogs back/should on top but it always slides down into/close to his armpit. After reading all the great reviews I re-adjusted it a few times but it didn't help. Maybe it's only because our dog is a little bulky, wide chest but short legs (he's an gigantic mini Aussie or a very small "regular" Aussie) The quality of the harness is great as far as I can tell. The design is great too - I really liked the "loop" where you attach the leash to. (We had the "Ruffwear - Front Range All-Day Adventure Harness for Dogs" harness before - the clips are on the top of the harness. This harness is really great but we need something "light" for hot South Florida summers...)

If you have struggled with a dog who does not cooperate with putting his legs into a harness (the drill for us has been: get one leg in, then he will step out when we're putting the other leg in -back an forth sometimes) then look no further! Why it took me so long to find a harness like this, I don't know, but I do know it is the last brand and style I will try!We had a few of those "step in" harnesses, that we liked, (the one's made from soy fiber purchased from Bark) but, the two rings at the top for the lead to be fastened to was kind of a pain, and, like I said, no sooner than he'd have one leg in, but he'd take that one out when I'd put his other leg in.We've had several more traditional harnesses that go over the head, and then around, after only one leg goes through the leg loop too.A few weeks ago I tried another step-in harness from Amazon (this one) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073W978X4/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1I did not like it much as only one side is adjustable, and it is kind of bulky and heavy even though the price is very reasonable. The middle strap that goes under the chest, slides freely, and it has to, due to all adjustments only being on the one side. I didn't return it, but don't much like it.Then, I found THIS harness. Greatest. Harness. Ever! period.All you have to do is pop it over your dog's head, and the strap goes around his chest behind the front legs (like a belt) and clips together on the side. So so so simple! the straps are PADDED too! Fully adjustable. Wonderful harness!

Fantastic harness for my Morkie (half Maltese half Yorkie) puppy. For reference, he is 7lb and almost 7 months old - his coat is on the longer, fluffier side, he has a slim build. I purchased these for him at this weight and age. I'm ordering from Canada (not available here) thus I ordered both the XXS and XS - in black.The XXS is comfortable for now with a little bit of growing room, the correct size for a growing puppy up to about this size.The XS would have been fine at it's smallest adjustment for this present age and size, it allows for expansion too - I believe it will see him to adulthood.He does not struggle whatsoever when we put this on him. It slips easily over the head: the dexdog logo sits at left shoulder, the leash ring is in the middle, the strap hanging on the right goes under the belly and snaps into closure under left shoulder.This is at least our tenth attempt to find the most comfortable product with ease of use....and Dexdog would have been the only one we would have needed if it had been our lucky first choice!Highly recommend this product and company.

So I have a 9 month old very reactive German shepherd pup, beautiful nature but my god she’s hard work to walk, until today when this life saving harness arrived. She walked like a dream I felt like a new dog owner! So pleased, hope she continues to walk so well on it 😁#edit today she was her usual naughty self! Maybe yesterday was just plain good luck! 🤷‍♀️
