At 2.5 inches, these curtain rod brackets are shorter than the 3.5 inch average, therefore enabling me to mount them on the ceiling and have floor to ceiling curtains that do not drag on the floor. I should probably add the reason for the ceiling mount was to accommodate the 5 inch crown molding.

The screws that come with this are so tiny. I used my own screws because I wanted to make sure they held. The other thing is the holes should be a smidge to one side since you can not get a screwdriver in the one hole so it ends up in at an angle. I do like the concept itself though and these are pretty much perfect for what I needed except the two above mentioned flaws. I still bought a second pack.

Well they were working for a month until they decided just to randomly fall. The circle part fell off the stem and everything came crashing down.

Screw holes line up wrong the screws line up so one of them is on the back side you can't change this due to design flaws you will need a drill extension

These work welled for my project they are shiny and solid, I would recommend

These are so much easier to use. Much more positive connection.

I ended up not needing these but from what I can tell they’d be great.

It is too sharp and damaged the coating of my curtains pipes.
