Pretty good bra, the price is just steep.
I was recently fitted for a 26E, so I have been on the lookout for a bunch of new bras to upgrade from my old ones. Seeing as how that size is pretty much impossible to buy, I was given a few choices to try out. My first one was a 28DD, the size I ordered this bra in. I was told the band would be small, the cups would be too big/small, etc .. I read it all about this one. After putting it on, it fits like a 28 should. It's snug but not too tight to where it hurts my ribs and I can't breathe or move. I am using an extender for the first few times wearing it so I can get used to the fit, but overall it's not too bad.The overall quality of the bra is quiet nice. There are 6 little areas/hooks for you to place the straps, 2 on each cup and 1 on each side on the band. Very handy for those needing a better fit for their girls, plus I can convert it into a racer-back if needed. The straps are not big and bulky, no bigger than what you'd see on most common bras. They're not irritating, are made well, and just a tad stretchy. They can be adjusted to fit however you need them to be (but don't wear them too tight!).As for the cups, they are not padded (they're about 1-2 centimeters thick) and are seam-free. Just enough there to give you a little bit of support. When wearing mine, there were no wrinkles, just a smooth look. I noticed a little bit of "boost" for my girls when wearing this bra, even though I am a little fuller on top than the bottom. It has a nice little plunge and everything seems to be made well. The wires are a little stiff, if that makes any sense? They're doing their job, but once again I am also trying to get used to the fit so it may feel a little tighter than what I am used to for the time being.Freya bras do tend to run a little pricey (well, most good bras do run high, but for those on a budget it's a little steep), but for the quality and sizes, I think it's well worth it to have something that actually fits. I'm not going to order this one again any time soon, but at least I do know that if and when that time comes when I need a new one, I can rely on having this certain bra to turn to.

Best strapless I have ever owned or tried!
I got this in size 28DD to wear under a formal dress when I attended a black tie wedding.(Initially I received a bra that was HUGE on me, it said 28DD on the plastic bag AND on the cardboard Freya tag, but I looked at the fabric tag on the inside seam by chance and it was actually a 32DD. Amazon quickly sent me the right size and I returned with a note so they could correct the tags.)I have heard that Freya's bands tend to be stretchier than other brands, especially compared to Cleo/Panache. This is NOT true of this particular bra, which I ordered in the black colorway. Black and dark colored bras tend to have less stretch in the fabric due to the requirements of the dying process to get dark colors. This bra in black has a very firm band, and since the 28 since is the smallest band, there was not a lot of give. That said, it was true to size and this is the first strapless bra that I have worn that does not do ANYWHERE! I have to carefully make sure it is in the right spot, with the wires sitting perfectly in the fold of the root of my breast, before I fasten it totally. The firm band combined with the silicone no-slip strip means that this thing did not budge through an 8 hour wedding and reception, during which I got pretty sloshed and did a lot of dancing. I didn't touch or adjust or yank up the bra ONCE!The shape of the bra is pretty good for those of us who are slightly shallow or tall rooted. It is not super closed on top, which makes me think that even if you are pretty projected or FOT, you won't get a lot of cutting in or quad boob. It does not have a lot of immediate projection right at the wire, so it will be trial and error for those who are extremely projected or FOB. If you need something even more projected in this, I would recommend trying Curvy Kate's strapless with two vertical seams, because I have heard it is one of the most projected strapless bras currently on the market!

MUST size up band and down cup
I went to a specialty store and the staples bras they carried all smashed my chest. This one actually fits similar to a normal bra without the smashing, but your normal size WON'T fit in this. Like the other reviews say, you'll have to order 1 band size larger and 1 cup size smaller than usual (if you want that vavavoom cleavage and a low cut). I'm normally a 28F (UK size), but the 28 band in this strapless is insanely small. I couldn't even hook it closed. Going up to size 30 fit nice and tight on the loosest hook, so I'm not worried about it stretching out. I tried my sister size (30E) and the cup isn't flush with my skin unless I put in a padding insert, but then the cup also gets kind of a weird shape because the underwire is too low. Going down a cup size (30DD) fits perfectly. The cup is flush with my skin and gives nice push-up style cleavage without needing extra padding (because the cup is technically a little small, but in a good way). I'm also able to add a padding insert for really amazing cleavage and the underwire still sits in a good spot and doesn't fall down, and it makes the cup low enough to accommodate a wide low cut neckline. Exactly what I needed! Would I wear it every day for normal clothes? No. But for special strapless occasions, it looks and feels great.

Is this how it felt to be a woman during the Victorian Era???
I wear 28D in other Freya bras and they fit pretty comfortably. I even have this bra in the beige color in the same size. For some reason the bra in black felt like I was wearing a corset. It was so painful to breath so I had to take very shallow breaths. By the end of the day, I had the biggest bra shaped welts around my entire rib cage. The part under my arms where the bra is stitched together left me with raw skin due to it pressing so tightly into my skin. Had to return.
