Honestly, my first purchase of these were over a year ago and it lasted about a year until it wouldn't turn on. It would charge but not turn on. Right before not turning on it would be like playing "wack-a-mole" with trying to get it to turn on until it got to the point where it just ''wouldn't".2nd Purchase: I went ahead and bought a second one due to my job environment on August 4th and it is now October 14th. It took two months for the "wack-mole" effect to start. Yesterday for some reason it desynced it's Bluetooth connection from my phone but stayed on. I put it on the charger and now for 1.5 hours I haven't been able to get it on.If you wear ear plugs this thing is an absolute monster with wonderful sound quality and a very long lasting battery life and a necessity for industrial environments. Getting it to work and stay working is one thing you'll have to contend with. 200$ and I have learned my lesson. You can buy the actually speakers and pack separately for 60$ off of another site. Get some double sided tape and stick it to the inside of whatever you are wearing.

The padding in this hat mutes the sound so much I pulled the speakers out and just taped them to the inside so that they sit against my head. Battery is good, I listen to 2-3 hour podcasts take a break and listen to some more 2-3 hour podcasts. If some one is standing right next to you then they could hear something but they may just assume it’s your phone in your pocket. When I see a supervisor or some office people coming I can pause my podcasts and they think I’m tipping my hat at them. Not great for music and the voice that says “power on” and “blue tooth connected” has somehow switched to Chinese and I do not know how to fix it.

The hat just started thinking it was low when it wasn't, stopped charging completely. Stopped charging recently and the charge port broke and popped out of the hat The quality of the sound is okay it gets the job done but the issues out way this. DO NOT BUY

I've had this for about 4 months. I'm an emergency responder in an industrial factory setting. I bought these because we aren't allowed to wear headphones because we are required to wear hearing protection in the plant. But, in my line of work I need to be able to communicate to my team while I'm on an emergency scene and sometimes may need to call 911 while my hands are tied up on a medical emergency. And radios don't always work. This works perfectly in this environment. Not only does the audio work well enough I can hear clearly in the loud plant setting but, the microphone works well enough callers can hear me as well. Plus, I can wear this without sacrificing the safety of wearing my hearing protection. And the charge lasts way longer than advertised. When I bought this it said it last 6-8 hours. I've had it last over 12 hours with no problems. In fact it's charge usually outlasts my phone. And the few times I have had to charge it at work (usually because I forgot to plug it in the night before) it will have a full charge in an hour or so.The only complaint I have is asthetic. I wish I could get it without the giant patch on the front.

Got the hat which granted looked and felt good (other than the goofy logo but whatever) only to find I couldn't connect it to Bluetooth. I tried to follow the directions which were apparently written in Chinese then ran through google translate, which allowed me to consistently turn the hat off, on, and swap languages between English and Chinese. I spent 30 minutes trying every permutation of pushing their one button I could think of and never got their magical pairing prompt. I don't know if the product itself is good or not other than it sounded like it basically only had speakers on it the sound of power on and off was so loud. Have to return because it doesn't pair. I have built my own computers, I use Bluetooth lights and VR headsets, I have never tried to use tech as confusing as this with such poorly described instructions on top of it.

I cap needs to fit tight to the side of your head and you need ear plugs. I can hear it with no problem as less than half volume. If it only had an elastic band then it would be perfect. But this saves me from my mind on my 12 hour shifts.
