My 12 year old son loved his and it works fast! Not as difficult to clean as I had expected, but still several parts, then finding a place to store it, not burying it in the freezer... all kind of a pain. Ours lasted 4 months before it got a hole and started leaking. I can't justify the price of $25 for another, but if was fun while it lasted.

Put this in my daughters Easter Basket and now I want to buy one for all my kids. Works great, easy to clean, daughter loves it!

I really wanted to like this for a wine or lemonade slushie, but was disappointed. It does not hold much liquid and takes awhile to make the slushie.

It left me with more of a chunky, icy mess than a smooth and refreshing slushie.Lastly, cleaning was a nightmare. The various components were challenging to disassemble, and without a dishwasher, it felt like an impossible task.In summary, I regret this purchase. If you're serious about enjoying a good slushie, invest in a better-quality machine or stick to your local convenience store. This slushie maker cup may be affordable, but you'll likely end up disappointed.

It does freeze sugar free. I wanted a cold drink and didn't want to use ice to keep it cold, so I took the cup out of the freezer. They say it will only keep cold drinks cold, but instead it froze my sugar free cola! You can see from the pictures taken just minutes apart.

I bought it for my sons birthday and he loved it. He used it three times and it broke. He was squeezing gently as we watched a movie and the ring just popped off and the whole thing fell apart.Update- I was sent a message with a video showing how to put it together and sent a new one. It turned drink into a slushy within minutes, like the last time. Now we know how to take apart and put back together. Son is happy to have his slushy drinks again! Amazing!! I’m gonna order more for Christmas for my nephews.
