This stuff is very expensive, but it works great. You can get the same tape in a plain role, but you're constantly running into the problem of finding where the tape starts, peeling the initial edge off the role, cutting it to length with scissors, then repeating that whole process over and over again. It might save a little money, but if you are doing a fair amount of wrapping, for me, it is worth paying a little more to have the red plastic body with places to grip and with built-in cutters. This makes the entire whapping process much faster and easier. Make sure you hold the red plastic only where the raised grip lines are placed: if you hold it in other places, the tape roll will not spin easily. But if you hold it right on those ribbed, upraised lines, you'll find the tape easily dispenses.This tape is strong enough to handle most any sized box other than, say, boxes filled with furniture. The tape is strong and has good adhesive. It is important, however, to ensure that you press the tape down onto the cardboard after placing it, as it may not fully stick on its first lay down. Another way to strengthen the seal is to cross-lay the tape using two strips and 90 degrees from each other, with each tape band crossing the other. This allows the tape to adhere to not only the cardboard box, but also to itself, further strengthening the seal. Yes, it is expensive, but its about the best tape I've used, and fully recoomend it.

Good old Scotch makes good packing tape that is slower than any others I’ve used to dry out and become brittle over time, and doesn’t lose adhesion over time like “Pony” and tape from some storage places. There’s other good tape, you have to try them and see over time, but Scotch always my go to now.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT! I'm do online sales for a living so the quality of the box tape I use is very important. I buy different tape for different things so I can save money on things that don't require a high quality strong tape. This is what I use for my boxes. There is a huge difference when it comes to the tape you buy. Boxes can and will come open if the tape isn't strong enough. I don't have to worry about that with this tape. I love the disposable dispenser, it's way better than the big reusable one I have. I highly recommend this product for shipping packages or moving boxes

I stopped buying those small dispensers of packing tape and just purchased these. Get more for your money, and always have tape on hand. Works fine, a little hard to start it, peel off the first piece. But, once you get it going, pretty easy to use. And who knows when you might have to move? Just have the tape on hand. Good for returning items too, taping up those boxes. Seems to hold well, haven't had a problem with that. Nice to have them already in dispensers too.

Inch for inch, this is a much better product than what I pay more for at CVS. This is a heavier tape and it dispenses more easily. It is making the packing up for moving 1000 times simpler and easier.

This brand never disappoints. I use this shipping tape exclusively.You know that annoying thing that happens when your tape gets stuck to the roll and you end up peeling it back in little strips becasue it's to dang thin?! Well NOT THIS TAPE!!It's thicker and easily separates from the roll. Wow, what a difference - I cannot believe I didn't start using this sooner. You get what you pay for!!! Cheap tape = wasted time and energy.
