With its cabin-like design and plenty of room to stand and move, the Coleman WeatherMaster 10-Person Tent feels more like a house than a tent. This ten-person, two-room tent offers ample space for sleeping or sheltered relaxation. Get in and out easier with two doors-a hinged front door and a zippered back door. Its Variflo adjustable ventilation system allows you to customize your cooling comfort. If it rains, reverse-angled windows let in the light and air, but not the water- even when they're open. The built-in WeatherTec System's patented welded floors and inverted protected seams help ensure you stay dry. Spend more time enjoying the scenery with color-coded poles and continuous pole sleeves that allow you to set the tent up easier. Inside, the 17 ft. x 9 ft. floor is large enough to fit ten people or three queen size airbeds. When the fun is done, it folds up to fit inside a carry bag for convenient transport.Coleman Weathermaster 10 Tent 17x9 Ft Brwn/Tan/Bl 2000001598 SKU: 2000001598

Never buying a Coleman Tent again!
Where do I start? This is just a terrible tent! I'd give it zero stars if I could. This is not the first time we've camped in a tent. The set up of this tent is not easy and definitely not a one person job. The instructions (and included pictures) are difficult to understand/see as they refer to objects without showing you clearly what those objects look like. One of the end pole sleeves tore during set up and is not repairable. The shock cord snapped on one of the fiberglass poles during disassembly. The D shaped door was nice but very difficult to zip up as the zipper repeatedly caught on the outer flaps. The stakes that come with the tent (if you can even call them stakes) are plastic and flimsy while the others are wire like and would never hold in a high wind. We ended up having to spend a significant amount of money buying quality tent stakes. I am grateful it didn't rain because with the quality i experienced in dry weather I'm sure I would have gotten soaked if it had (yes we did spray the tent and rain fly to attempt to waterproof it). My wife and I were so disgusted with this tent we trashed it on site. That was a painful $200 lesson. We will never again buy a Coleman tent.

It's huge, but questionable quality
I've set up this tent twice now. Once in the back yard to test things out, and once on an actual camping trip. On the plus side, it's huge. Absolutely huge. I can stand up without crouching, which is great. It has plenty of room for our family of four plus dog inside. The hinged door is also pretty great and a feature every family tent should have. The second (non-hinged) door is handy to have as well. When it was set up in the back yard, I gave it a thorough dose of Camp Dry (based on other reviews here). We got pretty wet from redwood forest fog and condensation, and the tent repelled it well. I don't don't how it would have done without the Camp Dry.Quality is questionable, though. After just these two setups, the divider between the two halves of the tent has already ripped at two of the grommets. And once of the pole sleeves is already ripped, so the pole will poke through when inserting it, if I'm not careful. I understand this isn't intended to be a super high quality tent, but it's still pretty disappointing.Setting it up is also a pain. Not particularly difficult, but there's a lot of poles involved and it's pretty hard to get the poles upright with just one person. Much easier if you have a helper. So all in all it's ok. I'm not sure I'd make a different purchase next time, since it does have the size and door that I was looking for, but quality is definitely not its strong point.

Holds up well in thunderstorm, quite roomy, easy to set up
We just used this tent for the first time, camping for three nights in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado. It weathered a pretty ferocious thunderstorm and held up beautifully. We were concerned because the rain was accompanied by a strong wind but no rain blew inside the tent at all. We had sprayed the recommended CampMor rain sealant for tents on it prior to the trip and it worked like a charm, no rain penetrated the tent. We were dry, safe, and happy inside the roomy 10-person tent for the six of us. It has ample space for 6 people plus additional room for clothing bags and other camping gear. Everyone could spread out! My 6' tall husband stood with plenty of room overhead. It was also ventilated nicely for a cross draft at night, as we prefer it cooler to sleep better. Set up is EASY. Two people are ideal but even one can set up this tent. Excellent design and construction. We love the hinged door--makes coming and going convenient. We did not use the attached "wall" as we are one big family and enjoy seeing everyone. Our only negative remarks would be about the included tent bag..the zipper broke after only 2 days' use, which was quite frustrating. We are using bungee cords to tie it all together (there are several bags that hold the various poles and pegs) but wish a better quality bag would come with the tent set. Overall we are pleased.

Good tent but NOT a WeatherMaster
Camped in 99% humidity and woke with half of the tent wet, water got through the rain fly and walls. I camped in same area with coleman's evanston 4 person tent and it handled rain and same environment with no problem for 2+ years, looks like i will be going back to Evanston line of tents. The reason my rating is not lower is because i really like metal poles that came with this tent, just looks much more durable than all of the fiberglass poles. I camped in high wind and this tent handled that wind perfectly, well almost, except the rain fly, which looked like a parachute from the wind. I love the size and poles, but rain fly is not that great, imo
