Hamilton Beach Personal Single Serve Blender with Travel Lid, Red (51101R)

Overall, I like this blender. It's easy to use and easy to clean. The only downside is, if I am using frozen fruit in a smoothie, sometimes there can be a couple small chunks of fruit that don't get completely blended. But for the price, I'm pretty happy with it.

This is a perfect blender for smoothies. It makes enough for one serving and you can use the blender as a glass. Love it!

I've been using this blender for almost a year. I've come to count on it for quick smoothies and shakes. I use it at least 2 or 3 times a week, and it looks and performs like the day I got it. Fantastic for a quick blended shake for breakfast, or even a smoothy in the afternoon. Obviously it's not going to out-perform the fancy $100 blenders, but it's also less bulky making it very convenient to use. It by far exceeds my expectation for the price and convenience.

I've only used it once so far on something easy & it worked fine. Worth mentioning is that you need an outlet to use this; there is a plug & it is not a rechargeable item. In my mind, this conflicts with describing it as "portable." Yes, you can take the mug separately & yes, the overall machine is not hefty so you can take & use it anywhere there is an outlet. Portable? You decide. I'm not complaining - I got it for $14!
