Ultra Pro NA UV Protected Square Baseball Cube Ball Holder Display Case, Clear

This is the second case I've purchased in the last two months. My 8 year old went into little league this year with a very bad attitude. He didn't want to play baseball at all. Somehow along the way, he managed to earn not one, but two game balls, and the experience went a long way to change his outlook on baseball and sports in general. I wanted to make sure I did everything I could to preserve the memory for him and found myself on Amazon, yet again.These cases are very sturdy. There is a small stand built in to allow the baseball to rest comfortably. We had a 5.0 earthquake a few weeks back and the ball didn't budge. The acrylic is a good thickness, and I didn’t see any scratches. I’m sure it could get scratches along the way, but it should be pretty safe if it’s just sitting on a shelf next to the trophies. I usually try to point out any defects I find in a product, but I didn't find any with these.He did mention he wishes there was a place to put the details on what he did to earn the ball. I will probably add a label to the bottom of the case to allow for this. It shouldn't make a difference in how it displays on his shelf.Overall, this is the perfect solution to hold some very special memories. Hopefully we will be buying many more in the years to come. got some of these for my 8 year old son for his collection and he is able to open and close them with ease yet they are very sturdy and can be put up to an 8 year olds rough housing.

It's a cube; it's clear; it displays my autographed Carlton Fiske baseball; and it foiled a 5 year old's attempt to open it. What more could I ask? Oh yes, I hope the UV protection preserves the signature, but that review will need to be years down the road.

The best quality of the brands of ball cube that I have used. Very clear, easy to place a baseball into this, and you get good value for your money. When you buy a display case such as this, you do not want it to take away from the item being displayed, and this certainly does not detract from my memorabilia being displayed.

While I'm not using this display case for baseballs, in fact I'm using it to display my Gary Gygax signed extra large 20 sided die, I can say that the quality is excellent! The plastic is optically clear without any blemishes or distortions and hopefully I can finally rest assured that the precious signature won't fade from indirect sunlight exposure as has been slowly happening over the past few years of displaying it without added protection. Great buy to protect precious items, but i would make sure to pay the extra few dollars and buy the UV protected one shown here - the others are simply plastic boxes that can be had for far cheaper and provide no added protection.

Should you need to return this item you will only be refunded 5.99. I paid $13.53 for this prime item and shipping was free, but to return I am being charged $7.54. Amazon should disclose this information pre purchase, very disappointing. The item itself was fine.

Have used this case for one year now. I keep my baseball on my shelf by the window and have had no discolouration at all.
