Nice, sharp blades. Hard metal you can actually use to chop stuff in the woods. Not just a toy! These are the real deal and and worth more than they cost.

This is great to keep in the car for protection

Edges were not sharpened. Sheath is less than worthless. Blades are good, useful for light brush or fighting. Shoulder strap is off balanced and too short. No separation between the blades which can lead to damage.

Awesome sharp as sheeet

The media could not be loaded. I saw multiple listings of this exact same design and ultimately overlooked that the significantly cheaper set of two was much smaller ~17") than the same design (scaled at ~26") in other listings. Oops! Other than that, the weight and feel are GREAT—much better than I expected for the price range even at the smaller scale—and they are bothe exceedingly sharp. I personally got these just because I live in a tiny place and felt it necessary to have some pointy wall-displays as a last-ditch precaution for home-defense situations; so for that purpose I needed something attractive looking but also somewhat better than a costume prop, and that can be used in tight spaces. I REALLY like these, they're perfectly suited to what I was looking for, the scale surprise however just makes me laugh—it's textbook.P.S. Don't worry about the poor cactus; is a special cultivated thornless garden variety, and I'm cutting it up to propagate it as a locally-native grilled vegetable! Prickly-Pear grows very slowly, so I'm getting as many bits as I can rooted as quickly as possible. YUM!
