New to silicone and these are fantastic
I don’t know about this pinch test another reviewer mentioned, but I recently used these pans a couple times and my pies were perfect. As floppy as these pans seemed, they held shape just fine to cook. Perhaps it would be more frustrating baking cake batter in them? I was making something akin to a quiche. I will be trying them soon to make cakes, so when I do, I’ll try to remember to report my thoughts on that. There was no chemical smell from them on first use, so that was very nice. Cleaning was super easy. I just don’t like the residue that the dishwasher gets all over them (despite my other dishes being spotless), so I wash them by hand now.The colors are a little dull and earthy for me, but I’m glad to have color all the same. I grew up on ugly (mostly gray) bakeware. I’ll take what I get. More important to me was how many I was getting and what size they were. The color is just an added bonus.

GREAT!! once you know the trick...
I purchased a set of these quite sometime ago. I did not want to leave a review until I actually got proper use out of them. At the beginning I found myself thinking - how do I get my batter filled pans to the oven without them bending in half? I thought Oh Great that was a waste of money, but I was wrong. Before you fill the pans you will need to put them on a cookie sheet or oven safe tray, so you can transfer them into the oven safely. I have a small convection oven, so I actually bake each pan by itself. My TRICK is to put these silicone forms into my old round metal cake pans and bake them. This provides great support and I can bake each one separately instead of on 1 cookie sheet. I Love the fact that I do not have to grease or spray these pans. I just put a parchment round in the bottom, add my batter and bake. Clean up is also super easy, as hardly any cake residue remains in the pans.I absolutely love these and would certainly recommend them.

work well for reheating foods in microwave!
I bought these for reheating or cooking foods in microwave, rather than baking. They are sturdy the sense that the silicone is strong and durable (I'e had them many months now). But they are extremely flexible. I would not put cake bater in them and attempt to transfer to a baking sheet. Just too flexible. I would first put the pano the baking sheet, then fill with batter and transfer to oven. As of yet I ahve not used them in the oven, so I cannot speak to their durability for oven use. WE live in an Assisted Living Home. Food is not so great, so I am constantly adapting what we get, Chopped-style--like the cooking competition. These are great for that. We just divide up the food that I have modified and reheat what is needed, add what I want and even eat out of these to save on dishes..So, for us these have been ideal...Cleaning is not too bad either. A lotto our food is pretty greasy, everything just wipes out with a cloth then a little dish soap rubbed all over the surface with a dish scrubber, and then rinse clean. Dries quickly. Can roll up to stuff in a drawer for next time. Good all around for living the lifestyle we are at right now.

Round silicone pans
At first I was skeptical about using them because of the likely hood of them not holding their form. But when I used them for the first time (and all the other times I used them after that) I was glad I bought them. They hold their shape well. If they are coated with butter, they will release the cake easily after baking.Would recommend.
