I have a branch from a cypress tree that hangs down and if it wasn't braced it was going to get bigger and break. I took, what I felt to be a chance/risk with these but they turned out to work extremely well. They are really to be used with a length of 2x2 wood, but I had an old very sturdy shower curtain rod that I was able to adjust to the height I needed. This was putting a round peg in a square hole where the square hole was a bit larger, but it worked! I like the way the bracket supports the limb of the tree..

It works as expected. Sturdy construction simple to add a 2”x2” support we purchased and cut to size. Support comes with two holes if you want to add your own wood screws for additional stability.

Good design that wont scar your tree limbs. The tie hooks are a plus.
