Kinda pricy for what it does, but i will say that it does it well. Its also very easy to adjust and use. The crimps come out perfect each time and have never had one come undone thanks to this tool.

I’m really happy with JRReady tools in general and this one in particular. It will crimp all common DT connectors that I need. I also really appreciate the quality of the connectors.The tool just feels solid…quality.

If you deal with duetsch connectors at all buy this and the jr ready prongs. It takes duetsch connector installs to half the time!

These work quite well for hobbyists or anyone else hoping to save a few dollars. If you are doing non-certified work, these seem to get the job done. I inspected the crimps under high power magnification with cross sections. Nothing to complain about. The JR Ready contacts are not as precise or well finished as the TE contacts, but it is suitable for many applications.Even though I do not terminate a high volume of contacts, I still need/require high reliability. After detailed inspection, I believe these will deliver the quality I am after for a lot less money.

I'm only not giving this five stars because the crimping tool is not true to the gauge of The wire. I used this on 16 gauge and had to readjust otherwise it actually crimped the wire so tight it broke. Even though I had to make some adjustments it definitely cramps better than anything I've ever used. I think if they made some adjustments to be true to the gauge markers on the tool, I would give it five stars.

Great tool , very simple to use and makes life much easier!!

Very stout and robust tool. Would have been nice to have some kind of instructions included for setting the depth of the crimp but was able to figure it out.
