All Time Best Soups Hardcover – September 20, 2016

Cooks illustrated is number 1 in my estimation. I've subscribed to the newsletter since it was first published. Great recipes, change ups & year around soup recipes. We love soup! I grew up hating soup & thinking it was a tasteless or nasty tasting mess. Our soup was the weeks leftovers thrown in a pot & called soup on Saturday Blech! When you make soup the star it truly does shine. Wonderful soups of all kinds, add warm rolls, bread, corn bread &/or a salad & enjoy. 5 tummies!

I haven't tried them all yet, but have made enough of the recipes in this book to say they are very good. The recipes are easy to follow and well written.

It was great to find so many good recipes that had been tried and tested. All the extra tips were very helpful when making the soups. Particularly enjoyed that many of the soups were quick.

I love soups; they were standard fare in our home. This book is a winner! I have made about half of the recipes and honesty I have enjoyed them all. I also have purchased 3 additional copies as gifts for special people. I highly recommend it to cooks of all levels of expertse.

Amazing in every way! I can’t wait to make each and every soup! Directions are detailed and pictures are wonderful! There are so many options you won’t be disappointed!

There are some pretty common recipes in this cookbook and some not so common ones that I can’t wait to try. The 2 that I have made so far were delicious and did not require any ingredients that were not already in my cabinet.

I was expecting some fun and delish soup recipes. Very run of the mill. Disappointing really.
