So happy these are back
I used to order these all the time and was so sad when I could not find them anywhere. Turns out they repackaged them. I just got the new one and tried it. It taste exactly the same. It’s got a nice caramel flavor without being overwhelming or fake tasting. The coffee is a great strength. And it’s by far the best deal for pods.

Good deal on the Espresso Decaffeinato Blend
I picked up the Espresso Decaffeinato Blend on a Prime deal and so far I'm pretty happy with the product!I know espresso purists would think "Why bother, it's decaff??", but I have to limit my caffeine intake starting around lunchtime but still like the occasional espresso shot or beverage later in the day, so this was a good compromise. They came packaged in a box with 6 smaller sealed boxes with each smaller box having 2 foil pouches of 10 capsules each. I'm on my 3rd foil pouch and so far all 3 pouches were already open, though the boxes they were in were sealed properly and I had to break the tape to open them. As these single serve capsules are sealed when the coffee is placed in them, I'm not too concerned by this, though it shows a fundamental problem with their packaging system! I could not say for sure that the capsules are nitrogen purged (like they do with K-cups), but I've not experienced a problem with freshness so far with these capsules.I'm using them with a Nespresso Essenza Mini with an Aeroccino milk frother and have had no problems with the fit of the capsules, or with operation when brewing a shot of espresso, they seem to puncture just fine though the flow is a little slower than with Peet's or Nespresso capsules. It took a few emails to the seller, but they sent me a bag for recycling bag, which is a huge plus as these are plastic capsules and neither Peet's or Nespresso will take them in their recycling (aluminum capsules only). BTW - Nespresso will only take their capsules for recycling, they sort out the rest and throw them away, while Peet's will take any aluminum capsule you send in, but neither will take plastic capsules at all, so you need to give credit to Bestpresso for stepping up!Bestpresso rates their capsules for 3 different beverage sizes, which notably don't correspond to the Nespresso beverage sizes! LOL! But I find these capsules work well for a regular espresso shot & and a double espresso shot (hit the espresso button a second time with the same capsule). When I attempted a Nespresso lungo, you could taste the over-extraction in the resulting beverage as it was obvious. So I typically use these for a single or double shot espresso with a touch of half & half (though the aftertaste doesn't linger as long as the Nespresso capsules do), or a double-shot latte or latte macchiato (see attached pictures) also with half & half, and the occasional cappuccino (though I prefer the lattes).I plan to try some of the other Bestpresso intensities as I'm pretty happy with the taste of these capsule especially considering the price, it's good value for the money.

Great coffee and customer service
Coffee is very tasteful and a great value compared to all other decaf brands. The other great thing are the capsules are aluminum which brews a better cup of coffee without water spilling from the brew. Finally, my package only came with 40 capsules vs the 60 promised and they fully refunded me which I didn’t expect. I figured they would send the missing 20 and nothing more. Was very impressed!

I think this is re-packaged freeze-dried coffee?
First smell and taste of this reminded me of freeze-dried coffee, and not a very good one. Does that mean this is freeze-dried? I have no way of telling for sure, so I have to trust my instincts. Search "the untold truth of instant coffee" and "the truth about instant coffee." Some of us can tell freeze-dried coffee and some can't. I bought the Nespresso machine to enjoy a treat of a good espresso every once in a while. This bestpresso is nowhere near being a treat. Besides the distinct smell of freeze-dried coffee, the capsule is cheap and messy. Listen to all those reviews about extra water in the catch basin! I get at least1.5-2 tablespoonsful each time. With the brand name, I get none. If you want this as your everyday coffee I think you can even save more money by just buying a store-brand freeze-dried coffee (unfortunately you probably won't get that foamy top-layer). Instead of returning these, I'll just use them for that once-in-awhile fufu coffee I make for my wife and some guests, although it might take 2 years to go through them all. I don't think I'm a coffee snob. My regular daily coffee the last decade, at least, is Kirkland ground coffee. My regular work coffee is Kirkland Pacific Bold K-cups... 3 a day at work for at least the last 5 years. If stuck at *bucks I only order drip coffee of the day. When travelling we take the *bucks Via on the road "just in case." However, almost without fail, I'll take a hard pass on cheap freeze-dried coffee. They get 1 star because it was a clever strategy to repackage what, in my opinion, is unsalable freeze-dried coffee.

I crave these decaf pods as they taste wonderful!
They are fantastic tasting! I just had friends over and they were all impressed by the taste of the decaf coffee I made them before they left to go home. They all said they are going to be ordering some bestpresso at their own houses.

changed decaf
I have been ordering this decaf for years and been happy with it. This past order, the taste of the decaf is different. Burnt, sour, not drinkable. The excellent folks in their customer service said the batch was sub-par perhaps. (I got the same e-mail as an other customer who recently wrote a review.) I'm not sure if I should look elsewhere; it seems they just changed the coffee and the packaging is different too. But I'm leaving 5 stars because the company made my refund so easy.
