Great looking board, but easily damaged by the screws when mounting it, as the heads can scratch the paint off if the screw is not quite into the wall deep enough. Also you need strong magnets for anything to stick, and the magnet on the included pen does nothing. Overall, looks great, with just a few niggles.

The whiteboard looks very nice and is easy to write on and clean. It isn't very magnetic at all: the pen included with it doesn't stick to it. However, as a whiteboard it's very good.As a mild warning, we bought this thinking we might be able to hang it on command strips. You definitely can't. Luckily the landlord gave us permission to hang it properly. The instructions make it pretty easy to install

We really like the whiteboard, installed on plasterwall with hollow wall anchors instead of the screws and plugs that came with the whiteboard. The supplied fixings are only good for masonry. The whiteboard is well made and we use it all the time.

Finally put this up as the kitchen is finished. Didn’t test it out beforehand. Why would you? Holes drilled and put up. Went to stick magnetic pen provided to the board and it fell off. No magnetic qualities at all. So what’s the magnetic pen all about? It’s now useless to me. Didn’t want a write board! Other reviews recommend buying strong rare earth magnets which I’ve now ordered. Why aren’t they supplied?Absolute rubbish. And it wasn’t cheap either!!I’d be asking for a refund if I hadn’t had it sitting in the cupboards for 18 months! Grrrrr!

The board is easy to fix to the wall using the included fittings and mounting guide. Fix the screws close to the wall to avoid touching the glass.The front glass is too thick to use even strong whiteboard magnets. Chalk pens are needed to see any writing. Standard whiteboard pens don’t show up well.

This is just what you need!Leitz do it so well...and so beautifully!Re-usable. Environmentally friendly on paper. A joy to use.Buy it. Worth every penny!

The whiteboard has one major design flaw: there is nothing protecting the thin backing layer within the holes where the metal backplate hooks onto the screws. This means that if you don't get a perfect fit for all four screws the first time, you'll run the very real risk of scratching the thin backing film.I returned mine and got a replacement because I'd already drilled four holes into my wall for this item. Otherwise, I wouldn't have ordered it again. For the replacement, I had to go to the effort of cutting and stuffing bits of card into the screw holes to protect the backing film.If you are dead set on buying this, then screw the screws all the way into the wall and then unscrew them slightly to see if they hook on. This is the opposite of what I usually do when fitting something like this; I'd leave what I think is the right gap and then try the item to see if it's a tight fit.As usual, good, no hassle service from Amazon.
