Tons of fun for many ages!
What I really enjoy about this game is that it can be played less competitively, if desired. That is, one person can be trying to describe the target word/phrase, while the remaining players can all guess; one need not necessarily keep score to enjoy this game, which is rare. I say this because I know that my very large and loud family has a tendency to get extremely competitive which is fine, but not so nice for outsiders (e.g., my sister-in-law or friends). We have played it many times and it has always been enjoyable. Plus, the large stack of cards makes it unlikely that we'll run out of cards soon...or that it will matter when we start recycling (because, unlike trivia games, once you start recycling items, people remember them).

Great game for vocabulary!
I have introduced this as a game in my classroom (3rd-5th) to help with vocabulary and English language and the kids have really enjoyed it! It is really challenging so sometimes I get to play along too when they get stuck and need help for a minute or two, but for the most part they do quite well without me!

Suitable for all ages, really
This game was much more fun than we'd anticiated! We broke a couple of the official rules, and everyone was able to be included. The timer function is good for the older players, but you can skip that portion of the rules when playing with younger kids where guessing is harder. And when we let my 4 year old play, she was only a guesser (not a clue giver.)You DO need a large table to play this on - it's a space hog. We happen to have one, but imagine it would be quite difficult with a typical 36x36 table... keep that in mind.

Fun for the whole family
I bought this for my sister's family for Christmas and we couldn't stop playing. People in the family brought it out every night and many of us joined each time. What a treat! This is clearly a Canadian game (some of the people/terms were unknown to most of us, but my sister and her family who live in Vancouver seemed t know most of them), but don't let that deter you. Also, my sister is going to spend six months in France and the game also comes in French, so it is perfect. We love it!

Great concept for language acquisitio I love playing this game with my El studentsn
This is a really good game to play with El students. I work with 4th through 8th grade so some of the words I think are a little inappropriate. I don't end up using those like sexy or sucks. These are words I don't need my 4th graders to know. My only other complaint is that the fonts on some of the tiles are difficult to read. Overall though, this is great word game to help students build their vocabulary.

Fun family game!
Our family plays a lot of games on holidays and get togethers. At first when we started reading the directions we thought it was goint to be to much but we continued reading because we wanted something new to play. After we figured out how to play it turned out to be a lot of fun. I think the age said 12 but we had my 10 and 12 year old nieces and the 10 year old won and we didn't let her. I'm 49 and we had all variety of ages playing and everyone enjoyed it.

Warning--not all editions are bilingual!
Great game for practising adjectives in a language classroom! However, be warned! As of March 2016 anyway, the description of this game says "Canadian bilingual French/English version." However, this is only true for the editions where the box is bilingual (the game title is not translated, but everything else on the box is). The photo with this product (as of March 2016) is the unilingual English only version! I know, because I bought it based on the description, but when I opened it, there is no French inside. If you are buying this and want the French/English edition, ask the seller first if the box is bilingual and you will know which edition it is.

Canadian version...
Funglish is a great game! I love it! I highly recommend it. It's a perfect party game. The three star rating is only because when I bought this version of the game, I received it and found out it's the Canadian version of the game. Still very playable, but each adjective tile has English on one side and French on the other. This makes it somewhat annoying when setting all the tiles out on a table for gameplay. If it would have been advertised the Canadian version, I'd have given it 5 stars because I would have known was I was buying. But it was a surprise, as there was no indication in the description at all.On the bright side, I'm learning some French adjectives! =)
