Dennis the Wild Bull

I bought this book because I have a six year old kindergartner at home who is just learning to read and I want her to learn not just from the traditional starter books. Just last week her school field trip took her to a farm where she saw a real bull so she was tickled to see this bull with rings in its nose and red hair. Her favorite part of the book is when the bulls knock down the fence and are free. I also bought this book because I am a writer of plays and sitcoms and novels and I intend to do children's books in the future so I was curious (and extremely leery) of a book for children by Dennis Rodman. From what I can tell, he had excellent help from writer Dustin Warburton and the artist Dan Monroe. These days children are learning to read not just the words but they are learning to interpret the pictures so my child is able to tell me the story of Dennis the Wild Bull without struggling with the words. This is a cool book to add to a child's library. My daughter gives it a thumbs up!

I purchased this little book, "Dennis the Wild Bull" electronically for my twin gradchildren who are 2yrs. old. I could not read this book because the font was too small. I tried to enlarge the font...but it was not happening. It's really sad because I think this is possibly a well written and cute book. The illistrations are nice, however, they too, could had been enlarged, somewhat. Please inform the author that folks who purchased his book and downloaded an electronic copy via Amazon,"Dennis the Wild Bull" is unreadable. And, I'm going to request that my money be returned when I return this book back to Amazon.When the author corrects this oversight, I will reconsider purchasing the book again and reading this book to my sweet grandchildren. They love books! I feel like the topic in this little book (CNN is where I heard about this book and the topic) is too important for something as simple as "font size error" keep others from purchasing this book, and reading it to their children.Mrs. Allen

This book is a paper back book. The cover is a glossy vinyl. The story line is cute and my 4 year old loves it. She ask us to read it to her all the time.

My kids loved the book and especially the illustration. It tells it's ok to be different and you have to stand up for your freedom. Good message and fun to read.

This book gets 4 stars. I love how short the book was. I really hate some of the kids books that are to long. My boys love a quick book right before bed, so this was perfect.It didn't get 5 stars because the book has a cheap feel and look to it. Also with the amount of words that were on the book, they prob could have made this book half the size. It is a full size book like a magazine.Get your Hustle on Dennis Rodman!
