I have only used this one year so far and I didn't put any batteries it in, so I can't attest to the motion detection of anything like that, but I have to say that it looks great! The only thing I found annoying was how visible the battery pack/speaker is. I wish that it was hidden in the cobwebs or there was some attempt to conceal it.

Looks great and I love that it collapses so it doesn't take up too much space in storage. However, within 1 day of hanging them (I bought 2), the string that holds them had completely come out and they were both on the ground. There was no wind or any type of weather that knocked them down, just bad quality. Luckily, I have a bunch of zipties that I was able to use to hang them from now on.

Voice box detection good. Cheap fiber cloth wrapped over wire and a foam head and foot. The webbing will get stuck to anything if you put it outside and rip it apart. The voice box is stitched to the back of the head and rips off after a few days if you hang it upside down. May be ok for inside, but is flimsy and rip very easy. Would not buy again, mine lasted 4 days then ripped up.

Really tall piece. Worked great!

Support strap broke, so if fell in light wind. Will have to figure out another way to secure it. Otherwise looked good, served its purpose.

It scared the crap out of kids this Halloween.

The screeching with the canned music is intolerable . I wish only the eyes lit up with no noise.
