Just What I Needed
I am still a FitBit One owner, no bracelet type FitBit I have the one that clips to your clothing. (It's still my favorite). Recently I've been having a lot of issues with the FitBit wristband that came with the FitBit One when sleeping.* It started to come apart on the side and I had to sew it shut*Even worse the FitBit One kept falling out of the little slitThis band was the perfect solution for me at an excellent price. It is actually much more comfortable as a wristband then the original one that came with my FitBit One. It is lighter and smaller as you can see in the photos. Also you put the FitBit in the back and fabric is an overlap which helps keep your FitBit secure. Then since it is against your skin it is even more secure, unlike the original that had the slit on the outside. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the Velcro could be a little more heavy duty. It does have the ability to come loose more than the original and one night I woke up with the wristband laying on my bed.I do not use this as an armband at all so I can not speak in regards to how it works however it does come with an extension to lengthen the band to fit an arm.For the inexpensive price this is an excellent product for my needs.

It worked at first...
I have a fitbit one, and I got this band to wear during the day.It is much thinner than the sleep-band thingie, so I was excited and it worked well... at first.Ever wonder why the band that comes with the fitbit one is so wide? I think it's because if it was any thinner, the velcro would start becoming less able to 'bond' or attach. That's what happens to this band - with repeated use, the velcro's ability to stick is slowly degraded because the 'fuzzy' part gets ripped off with each pull. I think that this is why the original band is so wide - it lasts longer that way.Essentially, this band worked great for 4 weeks with daily use, then stopped being able to attach, and was un-usable.If that is acceptable to you, give it a try. If not, look elsewhere.

Almost perfect. about the size of a leather strap watch and can be worn in multiple areas of the body.
If You've ever read the fitbit forums, You know that most of their devices are very poor at tracking anything other than steps. We bought the "Fitbit One" because it's their best clip-on device, and you can wear it wherever it counts most accurately. We bought this because it's much more compact than the sleep band that comes from Fitbit. It can be worn as a bracelet, or with the extension (that comes with it) you can wear it on your upper arm or even your leg.I think they could improve even further by making the band a little narrower, and offering it in colors. It's a great alternative to the ridiculously expensive bracelets that actually do turn the fitbit into jewelry.

Not very good for sleeping
I purchased one of these to use with my Fitbit One for sleeping. I had hoped that it would work better, and also be more durable, than the wristband that comes with the Fitbit One.The product itself seems well made and it's easy to get the Fitbit One in and out. Unfortunately, the velcro connector isn't very strong, and most of the time when I try to use this for sleeping, I wake up and find that it has come off during the night.I think that if the velcro connector was larger, it would be more useful.

Very Comfortable-Hard to Read
The the mesh is thick black material, and hard to read the digits through it. I also find it a bit harder to insert the fitbit into it, compared to the original that came with the fitbit, but it is VERY VERY comfortable to wear. Much more so that the original one, as it is narrower and doesn't get as hot at night on your wrist. If I could read the digits easier I would wear it all the time!

Wonderful...after you fix it
Just as others have commented, the mesh tore in the front of this product after only a week of normal wear. I couldn't see the tear initially (since it's along the seam of the black mesh "window") but, my Fitbit kept repeatedly falling from the bottom of my pants so I kinda knew something was up.It is far more convenient for me to consistently remember my fitbit if I put it on my ankle so, I REALLY wanted to keep wearing this poorly made contraption. Sooooo...I decided to reinforce the mesh window seam with some surgical silk suture I had lying around the house (don't ask). It's worked great ever since! I'm definitely no seamstress (as evidenced by my handiwork in the attached picture) but it seems Griffin could really improve on this product with a couple more stitches around the outside of the mesh. This would've been an EASY 5 stars had I not been required to complete its assembly.

I love the idea, but...
I love the idea of this product but it broke! Luckily I didn't lose my Fitbit!! I have been wearing it as a watch for the last couple of weeks. The way that the Fitbit pushes up on the mesh caused the mesh to break from one end. I'm so disappointed because it was the way I liked wearing my Fitbit the most. The large band that comes with the Fitbit is too big to wear as a watch. I hope I can find something else like this.

Good for what you pay for!
This is a good quality band, the Velcro is a nice touch and it fits around m ankle..well. I do wish it went a bit tighter but it fits around my arm nicely as well. My only issue is that the velcro sometimes is not super strong so i fear it may fall off sometimes.
