Ameriwood Home Englewood TV Stand for TVs up to 55", Black

I love it! For the price point, the quality is superb. It was EXACTLY what I needed & better than what I expected. I was a little uneasy, due to some reviews, and expecting it to arrive damaged or even broken. But everything arrived in great condition. I noticed a few scratches once I put it all together, but that could have very well been caused by myself during the assembly.The assembly was easy and straightforward. I think the instruction manual was easy to understand. Like most manuals nowadays it’s just pictures. I’m pretty handy so it was a breeze for me. Took about 2- 2 1/2 hours to put together. It might not have taken that long if I wasn’t watching Netflix as well lol.It’s pretty sturdy as well. My tv is an older flat screen model so it’s about 60/70 pounds, if not heavier. I’ve only had it for about a week so fingers crossed it holds up.

I received my stand, it took me a few hours to put it together, I've never put anything of this magnitude together before, I was initially intimidated my all the parts but once I hot them out the box and counted out the hardware and separated them, it made assembly effortless.. instructions were pretty clear with pics, and i was able to follow along. For the price point, I absolutley will re reccomend this product... I have an older model LG 42 or 44" flatscreen TV that's super heavy, heavier than my 55" TV and the stand didnt waiver ...Update 7/17 ...I'm still loving this cabinet, I did update the knobs to fit my decor...its even more fabulous and I added lights ...

It was a pretty easy build. The cardboard backing is black on one side and brownish on the other. I accidentally nailed it facing the wrong way (thought it was black on both sides) so the brownish side was facing you when looking from the front of the stand. Was a pain to have to remove and re-nail 30+ nails so don't make the same mistake I did. It went together pretty easily (good instructions/illustrations) and the glass doors actually lined up and opened/closed well without having to adjust anything, which is rare on these types of consoles. There were a few minor, cosmetic blemishes from the wood rubbing against each other during transit so there were some minor paint defects but once it was put together it looked pretty good. A black wood pen would probably fix them. We have a tv mounted on the wall right above it so the top is only holding a speaker bar but it seems sturdy enough to hold a decent sized tv with no problems. Overall, it is a good buy and was exactly what I was hoping to get.

I brought this as part of a Birthday gift for my grandmother who was turning 92yrs young. It was a bit confusing to put together due to lack of detailed instructions, however I accomplished putting it together myself. It is absolutely beautiful and the look on her face with a huge flat screen sitting on top was well worth the brain cells I exerted putting it together. I recommend this TV stand because it is beautiful and sturdy.

I never really leave reviews but I HAVE to leave one for this TV stand. It took a long time to deliver but once it finally came, I dragged the HEAVY box inside. No big deal. Until I opened it up to find all of the pieces damaged. Not a single piece wasn’t beat up. I was like okay I’ll try to make it work. Until I couldn’t find the instructions on how to build it. They were not in the box. I pulled out the bag with all of the screws and bolts in it to try to see if I could just figure it out when I realized it was a ZIPLOCK bag full of screws???? At that point I was blown away at this purchase and immediately packaged it back up and returned it. Horrible experience. I bought it NEW not used and it was clearly used. NOT EVEN INSTRUCTIONS!!!!

We purchased this stand for our new 65" TV, it fits perfectly. Unfortunately, when we opened up the box everything was filthy, so bad that we had to wipe down every piece before putting it together. Putting it together was pretty easy, the hardware seemed to be a bit cheap but the stand seems sturdy. The part that is extremely frustrating is that there were several damaged areas that we didn't notice until we were putting it together. If we didn't spend the time to put it half way together before noticing we would have returned it. Very frustrating.

We bout this stand for a 75 inch tv. It has proven to be a great size and a substantial pice that can hold the hefty tv weight. I am impressed with this item and absolutely would recommend especially for the price. The customer service for this product was also stellar. I have only good things to say. Putting it together took a while, but was pretty simple. All parts and images were included.

Great living room piece for minimalists like myself! Fits my 55" TV perfectly with "safe" amount of surface area on top. Love that I can display my family's photos thru the glass door cabinets.
