Invaluable practice tool
I've got one of the original camo Zakk Wylde models which I've been using for about a decade now, but when I saw the Supreme model, I had to upgrade. Here's why: as one reviewer noted, the old seven-fret versions are meant to mimic the lower end of the guitar, near the headstock, and on a small simulacrum such as this, it can seem that the frets are spaced even wider than they are, especially the way that you have to hold the thing. Kinda tough to do a lot of scale exercises, patterns, licks, etc., unless you just have a great fingerspan already. The Supreme rectifies that problem by simulating the guitar neck from the 12th fret on up to the 24th, which is where most guitarists are going to be playing blazing licks anyway (I play sometimes flickering licks myself). There is also much more room given to the picking area, so you don't have to concentrate so much on staying within the tiny area on the older models. Yes, this thing is expensive for what it is, but there aren't many options for tools like this that you could practice on a plane, a car ride, or even in the office (expect funny looks). But put together some exercises (I do tremolo picking, legato, trills, funk rhythms, rapid downstrokes, sweeping, economy picking, 3-note-per-string scales, etc.) and you will get results just like playing the real thing. A huge improvement over the original models.

Cramming in 12 frets doesn't work
The frets are too close together. I have very small hands & my fingers barely fit.

Great to practice with
Seller was very easy to work with. Had a issue with product shipment and seller was prompt in correcting. I received a different model, it is a perfect travel size. I travel quite often and sometimes it is hard to bring my travel guitar so this is a great little product to satisfy my urge to work my fingers. As others have said, the strings tighten just to have the feel of the strings but cannot play a tune. This is as designed, best to have a real guitar but if you can't have the real thing this is fun replacement.

Meh, my fingers are happier than my brain
First thing, this is a severely overpriced item. For a few more bucks, you can get a 3/4 guitar, albeit won’t be as convenient to travel with, but it’s the real deal with the true sound one deserves at this price point. The Supreme version gives a more realistic practice feel for a guitarist than the seven-fret version, which is spaced more like a bass, so if you’re going to purchase a Shred Neck, this is your best bet.The Shred Neck is made of decent materials; however, the fretboard on each model that I purchased was in terrible shape. Be ready to clean it up with some elbow grease and scrubbing. As others have called out, the strings will turn your fingers black, so clean them or change them.Lastly, you’ll pay for expedited shipping, and this doesn’t do a thing for you unless you order on a Thursday, because the lazy merchant seemingly cannot move their rear into the post office until a Friday, as that must be convenient for them, and who cares about you as the customer, right? I ordered on a Saturday and the item wasn’t shipped until the following Friday. It was expedited from that point in time, but if the buyer pays $20 for expedited shipping, the seller should value that cost passed on to their customer or ship with standard shipping to match the time of shipping with their lack of motivation to earn the money they take for their mode of transport.Pictures are before and after cleaning.

Frets too narrow
This a great for practicing but the frets on the supreme are way to narrow.Would have rather gotten the6 or 7 fret shred neck.

Accurate 12 -24 fret - no smaller than normal
Almost didn’t purchase from size complains. Size literally matches 27” scale. Slightly longer spacing than 25.5.Dry rough fret board. Garbage strings. Save an old set of strings to replace. Give a solid cleaning/ steel wool. For best feel.Same pain crack up top on mine, to match my 7 fret.. only ascetic. Great practice tool, better than 7 fret for advanced practice on the go. Not an art piece.
