Perfect for checking temperature of my log fire, from my chair !
I needed a thermometer for 2 purposes. Firstly to check temperature differences between various parts of a room ( to sort out draughts) and secondly to check my log burner was burning at optimum temperature, this does both things perfectly

Measures the temp of my pizza oven. All good.

Highly inaccurate
Followed instructions to the letter and measured boiling water at 82c. Just not accurate enough for perfect cooking results. Return was easy. Thank you Amazon.

Control of liquids
I use this thermometer to maintain liquid temperature up to 220 degrees Fahrenheit. More than adequate

Rubbish!
Off by at least 1.8 degrees. adjustments to settings doesnt help*only give 2 stars because it was half price, though I suspect thats their trick
