I wanted a traditional flour, preferably from India, to make Roti and Chapati with. I'm on a quest to find the healthiest, purest foods to cook with. Most of breads and flours in my country are "Enriched wheat flour" which makes me feel fatigued and tired after eating. This flour is great, works and bakes similar to a whole wheat flour if your familiar with that. Really makes a fantastic Roti, especially when also using some ghee, and I'll use some peanut oil. I was worried to buy, some people complain about the expiration date being within a few weeks or months of receiving the order. Mine was not so, the expiration is a year out, and it says for the freshest, use within one month of opening. But that can be true with about any food. I imagine this flour could last in your cupboard longer then one year if kept dry. My only complaint, the cost. It does say it's made in India, and I imagine shipping plays a role in the cost, but I highly doubt flour in India costs this price. If you don't have a Indian or Middle Eastern / Asian grocery store near you, this isn't a bad buy. But if your not far from a local store, go support them and maybe grab some other things and learn a thing or two from the owners. Update : If you have a local store nearby, go support them, but if you don't, buying this in bulk (8lb option) is much more affordable. I make Roti every night so it goes fast anyway, well worth it!

I am currently experimenting with the product as I make naan and several other Indian breads. I love the aroma of the freshly baked naan using your product. The texture and taste are outstanding. I will be ordering more as I delve further into Indian foods.,

Great Atta! Super fast shipping. The container is nice for keeping it fresh. I made Chapati this morning and they were sooooo good. I recommend this product.

Makes light fluffy rotis although it smells unlike the usual roti flour. Long shelf life according to label.
