MoraknivClassic Draw Knife, Stainless Steel Wood Splitting and Wood Carving Knife, 4.5 Inch

I am not a wood-carving craftsman and use this draw knife exclusively for splitting smallish kindling off of cut and split stove wood for my wood stove in winter. As is typical with Mora knives, the blade is wickedly sharp, and it is quite easy to split-off staves perhaps 1/8" to 1/4" thick from stove-cut cord wood (Ash, Maple or Oak) in order to easily get your fire started. The handles are smooth and comfortable and quite securely attached to the blade. This is an excellent tool.

Very sharp make nice thin cuts when I need to shave down kuksa from ax cuts I have used my knife to do the same thing but this push knife does it in a shorter amount of time

My son got this for me as a gift and I have been using it every day. Very versatile knife that holds an edge and all it needs is a stropping.

This is a draw knife. I would work sooo much better if it had a single edge. It's good steel, well heat treated, and comfortable to use, but it really needs a single bevel to be more effective. The double bevel is strong, and it gets incredibly sharp, but just a lot less effective than a single bevel blade.
