Purchased over one year ago and have had them plugged in since. We just had our first outage and they worked exactly as I had hoped. They went from blue to white and it was great to not have to fumble for a flashlight. We like the gentle blue light they give off when using as a nightlight. I know some reviews complained about that but we find it to be a better option than your standard white nightlight. I would also highly recommend these for anyone who has children living at home!

These nightlights are great. Sensitive to movement and provide bright light.

The lights are nice, but I wanted them for just the power failure feature for my shop - in other words, these go on when the power goes out. I was hoping that the switch would turn off the night light feature, but such was not the case. When the room gets dark, the blue light goes on, and stays on. This feature may be nice for some, especially with young children rampaging through the house during the night, but be aware that every night can be a Blue Light special in your home with these lights.

We've had a set of these for years and each time we lose power, we find ourselves with well lit rooms. No more risking falls in the darkness after a power failure. The lights are very bright and light up the entire surroundings immediately when the electricity is lost. While discussing recent failures with friends, I was surprised they'd never heard of them. One is a 95 year old active resident in an Independent Living facility and told me she was terrified several weeks ago when they lost power during one of Tucson, AZ's storms. I promptly ordered a set to be sent directly to her which were received the next day and several nights ago at 11:30 pm, we again lost power for 12 hours. She was thrilled and surprised they were still as bright the whole time. Yesterday, I told another friend who'd never heard of these, sent her the link, and she ordered them with a delivery of today or tomorrow. These are a MUST for monsoon season. In the meantime, the night light is a soft blue, plenty of light for normal times and can be switched to motion detectors, lighting up brighter upon entering the room. The affordable pricing makes them a great, usable gift!

I ordered two packages of these most of them worked, but there were some problems with them. It sounds like there’s a noise, probably some arcing of the electronics. So far so good.

I needed these recently. Since they kick on during an outage, at night your not fumbling around for a flashlight, lantern, etc. Not super bright but enough you can see clearly. The dusk till dawn is a light blue and easy on the eyes, and that can be turned off so you can use them as strickly emegency power outage light.

These are good emergency or night lights to keep in places like hallways. Light is bright but not overbearing

Not a good product. Product packaging was extremely difficult to open. Once plugged in, constantly shines a blue light that cannot be shut off (unless the ambient light is very bright), which family members found annoying (especially when trying to sleep). When unplugged from the wall (simulating a power outage) the white light that shines is not very bright. I had to destroy the original package to open it, so was unable to return to Amazon. Wound up throwing these in the trash. Very disappointing product.
