Comfort Up has wonderful customer service
Comfort Up has wonderful customer service. We had a shippping problem that was not related to Comfort Up but they solved the issue from their end. They really went above and beyond for us.The unit works great. We have had a few freezes now and the unit kept our All season (30 by 12 ft. room) warm. It is a raised room so nothing is under it but a patio. We insulated the floor with blown insulation. It is really quiet. You only know it is on if you go to it and hold your hand up to feel the air. Also used the line set which was perfect.

DO NOT PURCHASE AND PLAN TO INSTALL YOURSELF
Honestly the unit is fantastic. The only problem is this is not something you do at home, you need to be a professional to install one of these units. They shouldn’t even sell them to the general public. If you buy this unit, no professional HVAC company will install it because if you do not purchase the unit through them. So unless you can install this yourself, you will stuck with a great AC unit that you won’t be able to use.

Quiet and Effective
Purchased and installed through Blind & Sons of Barberton OH. This was to target cooling of an area upstairs on the south side of the house (added separate from the original house), which happens to be furthest from the HVAC system in the north end of the basement. After installation, the big test was a series of very sunny days well over 90°F or so. The system easily kept the area very comfortable. As this area includes master bedroom / bath, a comfortable night of sleep was a welcome change, while reducing excess humidity from showering in the adjacent bathroom.

just saying
I do not own this but about five years ago I installed one in a command center building at Lewis-McCord joint army base near Tacoma,wa. so I can say the Army seems to like it. It went it their server room. I liked it. I like that the refrigerant is compressed inside the unit and you don't have to add more, you just purge it. I did not make final connection (flange type) or electrical, gas connection requires a professional refrigeration guy . I am retired pipefitter/plumber and was not qualified to make final connections.

Mitsubishi acted like they did not care about customers when my unit broke
I had a diamond elite installer and spent a fortune having these Mitsubishi ductless units installed. THe outdoor unit didn't work from the get go, and the installer messed up the connection to the indoor unit as well. The installer and Mitsubishi went back and forth for weeks blaming each other and deciding who would pay for the replacement. Meanwhile my family froze through two polar vortexes with 47 degree temps in our home. At the end Mitsubishi refused to admit any problems and blamed it on the installer and said that "diamond elite is based on sales, not on service". Well why would I pay more for diamond elite with a longer warranty, etc. if it is just a sales game and has nothing to do with customer service? They left a drainage line in my crawl space, I had to threaten to call the Maryland AG to get it done properly. And they put in a lineset that has a chemical smell coming from it- like syrup- I am getting air testing to find out what it is offgassing into my home and harming my family with. I don't recommend buying Mitsubishi. I have two Fujitsus that were installed and run with no problem, if I buy again it will be Fujitsu.

Warning...
WARNING: 'YES...I OWN ONE AND JUST HAD MINE REPAIRED BECAUSE A GECKO GOT TO TGE CONTROL BOARD' - Do not buy any Mitsubishi split air unit. Poor design allows small critters to get to control boards and short them out. And it happens very often. Mitsubishi has known about this for years and has refused to do anything about it. They will not pay for labor or parts when this happens and it costs up to $1500 to repair. Fujistsu, however, does warranty this.

Has a mind of it's own and that mind is of an angsty teenager who hates you
1 star is too high of a review, honestly. Setting it to 70⁰ blows hot air, but 69⁰ blows ice cold air. Always max fan. IThat's IF it works at all. No matter what you do with the remote, it doesn't work. Usually it just opens the vents and then closes them again, after blowing 1.5 seconds of hot air.

Don't buy!!
Doesn't heat like they claim, big old house is cold!! Very noisy if you turn up the fan, which you need to blow the cold air around ( which should be warm) ,get baseboard heaters, quieter& steady heat, this is a waste!!
