Perla 3 Bed for Pets, 26 inches, Blue

I used these dogs beds for several years when I lived in Europe. I was happy when I discovered they were available from Amazon! The quality of the beds cannot be matched. I bought dark green and am pleased with the color. The soft dog beds could not stand up against my young Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, who loves to chew. He chewed 4 beds, and I went on a search for the Perla Bed.I have 2 senior dogs that also love these beds.The beds are easy to take care of and keep clean. I put a standard-size bed pillow in the bed, and the dogs are thrilled with the obvious comfort of the beds. Perla 4 fits my Cavalier (18 pounds) and Perla 3 for my smaller girls (12 pounds).Thank you, Amazon, for quick delivery at an affordable price for these wonderful beds! Perfect beds that look lovely and comfy in my home. All my dogs love them!

The measurements in the bottom of the Perla 3 bed clearly state 21 inches not 26 as listed. I had to return this an order a much bigger size. I had to pay to ship it back. I'm clearly not happy about paying for shipping this item back. The bed is great. The advertising however is misleading. It DOES not have the correct measurements. 1st pic Perla 3 2cd pic is Perla 6 I have 2 English Bulldogs I got the bed for them.

Tough and sturdy bed, cleans up well. Dogs are not as enthralled with it as I am (they prefer soft sides).

This dog bed has worked out very well in my two dog household and has even solved a couple of issues for me. The first issue involves my elderly dog (a miniature wired haired dachshund who weighs 18 lbs) who now experiences random instances of incontinence. I use bath towels as bedding in the Perla dog bed and since it raises the bedding up off of the floor, my wood floors are not in peril of being stained by wet dog bedding. It took my dachshund a couple of days to decide that she liked the bed, but now she dives right in, buries herself in the towels and sleeps protected from drafts by the Perla's high sides. The bed is roomy enough for my dachshund plus the bedding (three standard sized bath towels).I liked this bed so much I have ordered a second bed in the next larger size for my younger dog, a 27 lb Boston terrier, for whom these Perla dog beds solve another issue. My Boston terrier is 18 months old and to date has destroyed half a dozen cloth or canvas dog beds. He has chewed on the rim of the dachshund's Perla dog bed, but the damage has been minor and he lost interest pretty quickly. Because dog beds are not cheap, he has been sleeping on bath towels, which he also chews up, but I trim off the tatters and will continue to use them as bedding for him in the larger Perla bed once it arrives. These beds are not beautiful, but they are simple and functional and the green color blends into my home decor.

I thought it would be softer. It's very hard plastic. Seems like it would crack or break fairly easily under regular use/cleaning

This bed was delivered without the advertised non-skid rubber feet. Not in the box and there is nothing attached to the bed. There's no way it will stay stationary on hardwood without them.

I bought this bed, plus the Perla 2, to see if my cats would like them.The Perla 2 is a good size for a small- to average-sized cats, but I have one who weighs about 17lbs/7.7kg. He's not fat at all; he's just BIG. So with him in mind, I bought the Perla 3, and he fits very comfortably in it. I've also seen two of my average-sized cats curled up together in it.And, as with the other Perla I bought, I'm happy with how sturdy and easy-to-clean it is. One thing I should mention, however, is that the "beige" color is not actually beige, but rather a light, warm gray.

The advertised size should match what the size is printed on the bottom of the bed, very deceptive, I don't care if I like the bed or not, I was led to believe I was getting a 22" laying space which is what I expected, not 18" I measured my dog for 22" when she lay down I thought darn I should of gotten a bigger one, Really Perla bed maker! you should fix the description!
