Pros and cons:Pros: Durable, compact, accurate, easy to use, automatic range detection, all the features you need even temperature, storage/carrying case, bright color, large and bright screen, thumb switchable dial.Cons: probe tips a little short but still work.

This seems to be a good meter for home and shop use. I don't know if I would trust it on commercial equipment or if my job depended on it. Maybe as a backup meter it would work for commercial use. I compared this with my old Fluke meter and it was pretty much spot on. The temperature gauge was off a few degrees. But if your testing something and wanting to see what the "change" is it would work good for that. I put it in my refrigerator and it was about 3-5 degrees F off. But that's okay for what I would be using it for.

This product was purchased, and sat new in the box for over a year. Went to put batteries in and use it and readings just roll across the screen without even touching it. Company refuses to help me in any way, says it’s out of warranty, even though it’s never been used. No Fluke would ever do that. I have multiple flukes that sat for 3 or 4 years and never misread anything. Poor quality item, and customer support matches the durability. I do not recommend their products.

Leads shorted already. NCV is completely inaccurate and cant even pick up single phase without touching and positioning just so, defeating the purpose. The temp probe is junk broken day one. Compared to fieldpiece with higher accuracy the temp was off over 25 percent. Dont waste your money. I had zero expectations for my purchase really just wanted to compare to professional HVAC equipment.

Having used many meters in my career, I wasn't expecting anything great out of a cheap meter like this one... but once I got it and assessed it's abilities, I was thoroughly impressed. Easily a competitor to those mid to high price range models out there.

I've used electrical testers to test receptacles and wires for lights and switches, but this was my first time using a multi-meter. And, I needed a device that was idiot proof. In this case I needed a device to check mill-volts (mv) being produce to my pool heater pilot-light (yes it's an old heater). I was able to determine I was only getting 125 mv. I changed the my bad part (Pilot generator), which increased the output to 600 mv and now I have functioning pool heater.

Bought this as a backup for my fluke. But now after having tested it for accuracy against my fluke I have started to use this more. Easier to read. Rugged dropped off ladder numerous times. Only complaint are the test leads are not as nice as the ones on the fluke. So I replaced them with silicone jacketed test lead wires and it is purfect. For the money can't beat it.

Nice compact, home use meter! I needed a clamp style meter for a home HVAC job and this worked perfectly. It compares favorably in measurement to my Fluke meter in measuring home voltage, amps, etc. Good value for the price.
