Edit: I contacted Eonon support and they have been tremendously helpful in solving my issue. I'm leaving my original review below to serve as a reference, but installing the relay they sent has fixed my issue. I would definitely recommend this product if you're hands on/willing to do some legwork on your car. While not explicitly required, I removed the glovebox, interior trim panels, the rear bench seat bottom, trunk lid liner, and trunk handle as well as manipulate some linings and trim edges to tuck and route the wiring around the vehicle. The end result is that, besides the external connection between trunk and trunk lid, my wiring is completely hidden.I installed this camera on my 2008 Audi A4 with the GA9158A head unit, powered by splicing into the reversing lights (Edit, and a 12V line from the battery).The Good:With the headlights fully turned on, the picture is crisp and responsive.Camera activates within a couple seconds when put in reverse.Though I was concerned initially, the provided cable length was perfect and easy to hide.The Bad:To get the camera in an acceptable and discrete location, I had to do some strategic drilling and routing, resealing the resulting gap with silicone. Originally I had held it in place with the included screws, but after struggling to get a good angle and snapping the head off of both, I found it much more convenient just to use 3M double-sided tape (See Picture).When the headlights are off, I get intermittent video with lots of flickering, freezing, and black-screens. This makes it generally unusable but as mentioned above, turning the headlights on helps.I suspect there's some voltage issue preventing a stable image without the headlights on, it's an issue I'm working on.

Picture quality is good but not so much at night time due to I think it does not have an infrared light, but still works like i wanted it to be. Installation was ok, its not hard but is limited to such angle. I have these on my 09 corolla and i have to put it way outside of where my license plate lights are, making it poking out of my trunk reason being is because of the limitation on the angle. But so far it is an alright backup camera.

Easy to install near the backup light. took some time to hide the wires behind the carpet/liners to make it factory look. Picture is a too grainy for but serviceable for a 20 year old Bimmer.

Since installing this on my 2010 Mazda 3 with the EONON head unit, this thing has only worked occasionally. It's been nice when it has worked, but I would expect more since I followed the instructions and tapped into the power of the reverse wire in the trunk.Edit: it works fine. My T-tap connection to the reverse lights wasn't secure enough.

The picture quality is actually pretty good. Installation instructions weren't great, but YouTube saved the day.The camera itself is supposed to be waterproof, but the casing fell apart right out of the box. I had to glue it back together before I installed it. The camera angle can be manually adjusted, but it doesn't stay in place. After driving for a time, it starts to tilt down and gives a nice view of the ground, but not what's behind the car. So if you want a camera that falls apart, is potentially not waterproof, has difficult instructions and will forever need to be tilted back up to view the street before you drive, then this is the one for you.

i love the eonon android radio beautiful screen 3 second boot up very snappy and responsive i had my unit install professionally i had no problem i think people are having problem with the radio are not professionally install . just cuz you have the tool to do the work does not mean you can install it properly

This camera is exactly what it says it is. The picture quality isn’t great but it’s not an HD camera and it isn’t advertised as one. So given the accurate product description I have this five stars. It works, but I’ll probably upgrade to an HD camera eventually.
