I like this light to attach to my camera, with the variable brightness and tone. I did have troubles picking a suitable plug for it, though. The only thing documented was printed on the light: it operates with 12V 2.0A and the polarity is also printed. I'll share with you what I learned, so you can get a good plug the first time. You need a plug with a 5.5mm x 2.5mm adapter. I picked up a 12V 2.0A plug, but it was not enough power for this light - it would strobe at higher brightness settings. I happened to have a 13.5V 2.0A plug for a karaoke machine, and that worked fine.

Totally worth the $$. Easy and simple to use. Great lighting variations.

The 3300K LEDs are broken after less than a year of occasional, low-power use. Only the 5600K color temperature still works, for who knows how long.

Nice light. Not a far throw, but the issue is with the dimmer. It hardly dims down. While it is stepless, its effective as 100%, 75% 50%, and thats about it. It says 20% on it, but I don't see it being accurate.The color option is nice, and the controls are made well, and look nice. Putting a large Panasonic battery on it, I had it fall off as its bulky and heavy. Use a smaller version of battery vs the big one.

This item DID NOT come with the power adapter, and did not come with the connector shown in the picture. It also does not come with a battery. Beware of hidden costs.

No AC adapter and no battery included. How are you supposed to use this? Granted they call it out in the product description but this is a non functional product as shipped.
