Acoustic Guitar Pickguard fit for Martin 000,OM18,28 Models, Travel Guitars, Right Handed, Tortoise - Flame Brown

I replaced a pick guard on a Martin 00 42. I prefer a tortoise shell look as opposed to black. This a plastic reproduction of tortoise shell, not too thick or thin. I had to do a little trimming with an exacto-knife to match the sound hole inlay but with patience it was easily done. Excellent adhesive. Looks great.

Fit sound hole on Breedlove Concerto guitar which is a little smaller than some other dreadnought size guitars. Easy to apply and looks good.

These are pretty easy to install. If you haven’t tried installing a pick guard before you can find some YouTube videos that make it pretty simple . These don’t fit EVERY acoustic guitar. I own 8 guitars, different makes and models. This fit three of them nicely.Be aware: these are not as thick as those used on American made guitars.

This pick guard isn't all that. It's nice that it sticks well, but not so well that you are able to reposition it if needed. However, it's not flat as it has waves or something like bumps and ridges to the surface. The finish is a nice Tortoise and looks size appropriate for a circa 1970ish acoustic guitar, but it's still a little thin for my taste. It does seem pretty scratch resistant. I'll use it for a while, but I've gone ahead and quit gambling and just ordered a pick guard directly from Martin.

3M tape easy to apply and great hold
